The personal computer is useful for accomplishing the tasks of arranging, sorting and filing citati ons, and facilitating the retrieval of desired information. Authors have indexed private articles using the list of key word and ACR(American College of Radiology) nu meric code for the most im portant subject and created the program to store and retrieve refe rences easily and rapidly Index Words: Computers 보고하는바이 c+. 등료 1. 서 II, 대상및방법 의 현대사회는정보의홍수라할정도로매년방대한양 학술논문들이발표되고있 며, 해를거듭할수록 수적으로급증하고있다 많은의사들이양질의잔료 를위하여그러고연쿠와교육의기초자료로서또한 강의준,,] 를위하여, 개인석 A로다량의의학정보특 히의학논운을수집하여이용하고있마 1-3 ) 그러냐 양적우로증가하는자료의관리를수작엽 A 로배열, 분류, 보판및검색하는데않은시간파노력을소모하 고있으며, 심지어는자신이갖고있는논문의존재 유무조차확인하기어려운경우도있다 2 ) 저자들은개인적으로소유하고있는논문들을색인 (I nd ex ing) 하고, 개인용콤유터를이용하여논운판리 를효율적으로운영할수있는유용한경험을얻었기에 본논운은 년도연세대학교교수연구배보조로이루 어졌음 이논문은 년 10 월 1 9 얼성수하여 1989 년 11 월 16 일에채택되었음 1) 색인작업 (Indexing) 데이타베이스내에서필요한논문자료를효파석 로검색하기위하여 Key Word 색인파 Key Code 작 엽을하였고, 논운의보판 Fil e 을이용하기위한 Sec. tion Code 작엽을하였으며그내용은마음파같마. 우선 Key Wo r d 는 RSNA 색인옥록을중심으로필 요한내용을발춰l 하였으맥부족한부분은수권의교파 서 색인파 lndex for Radiological diagnoses(acr Co d e) 를이용하여보완하였마 4 ) 이과정중에서내용 이중복되거나같은의미를갖는단어는정리하여삭제 하고, 최종석으로선택된부분을알파엣순무로배열 하여 Key Word 옥록을만들었다. 영역에서 그러고방사선과 가장많이사용하는 ACR co d e 를인용하여 각 Key Wo r d 를수치적 (Numeric) 으로색인하였다 5 ) 또한실제논운을보판할 Fi l e을지정하기위한 Sect.!On 코드작엽을 Key word 를같은부류의내용즉질

2 서정호외 : 개인용컴퓨터를이용한논운판리 영이나해부학적주장기별로묶어 (Grouping), 각교수의담당분야별로각자의의도대로 2자의문자와 2 자의숫자로구성된문자숫자 (Letter-N umeric) 형으로코드화하였다. 예를들어 Key W or d 가 Arterio venous malformations, ce r ebra l 인경우 의 Code 값을갖고데이타베이스내에서판리되며, 실제그논 업력화연을통해논문에기재된논운 Source ( 잡지영, 권수, 페이지, 말행연도 ), 논운제목, 저자명, 논운요약을포함하여각논문의논운벤호, Key Word, Key Code 및보판 Fi l e의 Section Co d e를입력하여검색할때용이하도록하였마. 한펀자료업력시논문번호는논운 So ur ce를기본으로, 장지영은저자임의 운은 Section 벤호 BV30 의화일에보판한다. 여기서 로지정하였으며, 이어권수 (vo lum e) 와시작페이지 BV는저자의임의로 Brain Vastular Di sease의잎-자를따온것이다 ( Fi g. 1) 2) 컴퓨터 Hard ware로는주기억용량이 512k byte 인 IBM 5550과 640k byt e 인매우 PRO 3000을사용하였다. IBM 5550은한글 DOS(H 3.22) 를이용하여한글사용이용이하였고, PRO 3 000에는 VGA card를부착하여 Color Monitor를사용하였다. 저자들은 RBASE system V (Microrim 사 ) 를 Util. 블초합하여사용하였마. 예를들면논문 Sou r ce 가 Radiology 166: , 인경우는논문벤호를 R 1l 로하였으여여기서 R1 은잡지명 R adiol ogy를의마하고 16 6은권수이며 08 23는시작페이지가된다. 따라서논문벤호만보더라도어느정도논문 So ur c e를알수있게된다 ( Fig. 2) 논문자료의검색은저자명, Key Code, Sectio n 벨로논문 So ur ce와제목을알수있도록하였으며, Key Word와논문벤호는논문의요약도알수있게하였마 (Fig. 3) 한펀논문의 Key W o rd를알파엣순서로나 띠로이용하여 개인용논문판러 Prog r a m 을자체개 영하여각각의 Key Code 및 Sec ti o n 을화연을통하여 딸함으로서, 천산에전문지식이없는사람도논문판한눈에볼수있도록 Key Word Check List 화연을만 리를쉽게할수있도록하였마. 들었으며, 목록집을보지않더라도이 List 화연을이 Fig. 1. N. 고찰 논문의검색이나인쇄기출력은수작업과는비교할 수없을정도로신속하고정확하였 A 며, Key Word 컴퓨터를이용한정보처리시가장중요한것은자료 별로는논운의요약도알수있어논문을직접보지않 를표준화하는것이며, 대부분의데이터베이스관리 아도그내용을어느정도는짐작할수있였다. 논운검색은주로 Key Word와 Co de흘이용하는데, Key Word를이용할경우전체문자수가많을경우 Code 입력에비하여오자가생걸확율이않았고, 만일일부소섣얀을엽력하는경우에는같은소절을 시스템 (DBMS) 에서는색인작엽 (C 이 ng) 을하게된다 6, 7 ) 현재까지대부분의방사선과영역에서는데이터베이스판리시스댐에해부학적구조와영리학적소견을숫자로암호화한 ACR co de을이용하고있다 8-10 ) 그러냐 Sommer는 3자리수의알파엣문자코드화

Isolated tumor cells within intact white matter were identified in biopsy specimens obtained outside of regions that were depicted as abnormal by contrast material-enhanced CT, as well as by precontrast and postcontrast T1 -and T2-weighted MR lmages (Letter Code) 하였으며, 첫벤째문자는해부학석구조의머리문자를따서만들었고, 두번째는해부학적세부구조물 (Sub di vis i o n) 을, 셋째는질명의제일앞자를인용하였다. 예를들면 Abdomem-Liver-Lymp h o ma의경우는 ALL로서운자색인을하였다. 그는문자색인이숫자코드인 ACR Code 보다단순하고, 운자의앞자를인용하여기억이냐이해를쉽게할수있다고하였다 3 ) 그러나운자코드인경우는복잡한인체구조와질병분류을세분할수없으며사람마다구사하는어휘가다를경우는혼선을야기하여마은사랑의데이터베이스와의호환성이어려운큰단점이있마. 예를들연 L y mph o m a와 Lipoma의경우둘다 L " 자로색인되연중복의미를갖게되어냐중에혼란을야기한다. 저자들은 RSNA Ind ex 를기준 4 로각논운의 Key W o rd를색인하였으며, 이를 ACR Code를이용하여코드화함무로서, 향후다른데이터베이스와의호환성을염두에두었다. 그러고논문 Fi ling을위한 Section 코드는논문의 Key wo rd의내용이포함된질병및해부학석구조의머리문자를인용하여이를두자리의숫자로세분화함 로서그논문의소속된분야를쉽게기억하여 File 분류를펀리하게이용할수있었마. 또한개인이소장한교육용혹은연구용증례를판리할해 Section 코드를같이사용하연원하는분야의운헌이용이용이할것으로생각된다. 저자들이논문관리 Programming을하기위한 To 이로서이용한 Rbase system V는데이터에이스를테이블의접합 즈로표핸한판계형 (Relational) 모렐을이용하고있다. 이테이블은릴레이션 (Re l at i o n ) 이라 는수학적개념파직접적으로대응한다. 즉판계형대

N ational Library of medi. cine (NLM) 의 MEDLARS(Medical Literature Anal. ysis and Retrieval System), Bibliographic Retrieval Service (BRS), DIALOG Information Service, Paperchase, AMA/ GTE Medical Info rmation Netw rk (MINET) 동의않은데이터베이스 Serv i ce를통하여각도서판은 MEDLI N E과연결되어있으며, 얼반사용자는 1 시간정도의교육을동하여이를이용할수있다한다 12, 1 3) 우러나라의학계의경우전산화작업은아직초보적 였다. 앞A로, 방사선의학회지의논운데이터베이스가완성되연, 같은 Soft war e를가진컴퓨터를이용할경우, 학회옥록집을보지않더라도학회에서제공되는데이터베이스를이용하여자신이필요로하는논문을쉽게찾아볼수있으리라기대된다. V. 결론저자을은개인용컴퓨터를이용하여소유하고있는학술논문들을효율적으로판리하고자하였다. 먼저이논문들을쉽게검색하기위하여논문내용에따라 인단계이여, 방사선과의학회의경우, 최근에야학회 Key Word 색안작업을하고이를 ACR co d e 를중심 옥록집을펀찬하기위한색인작엽을진행중인살정 으로 Key Code 작엽을하였으며, 논운의보관 Fi l e 을 이다. 따라서방사선의학회지에서펄요한논운을찾 효과적으로이용하기위하여 Section Code 작엽을하
