SM007 연극개론 Introduction to Theatre 연극의발생기원과변천, 그리고연극의창작을위한기본이론들을학습하여심층적연극이론과실기에접근하기위한토대를마련한다. 특히연극이란어떻게만들어졌으며어떻게변화할것인가를스스로의질문을통해이해하도록한다. Theatre History I surveys the history of theatre from its origin until the advent of Realism at the end of 19th century, while Theatre History II focuses on the development of Western theatre since Realism. Critical reading of selected dramas is conducted to examine the literary, theatrical, socio-political and cultural context of each period. SM015 명작읽기 Reading of Literary Masterpieces 문학적, 공연사적으로중요한위치를차지하는극작가들의희곡을비롯하여신화, 역사, 예술분야의명작들을읽고토론함으로써연극을전공하기위해필요한인문주의적소양을향상시킨다. Through reading literary masterpieces covering mythology, history, social science, literature and arts, this course intends to foster humanist qualities of students as potential playwrights. 연기 (1) Acting 1 연기실기의기초과정으로서예술적감수성및감각을훈련하는자기발견과정으로연기에대한기초적요소들의이해와함께연기자로서필요한내적자질의향상에중점을둔다. 상상력, 정서, 감각, 반응, 관찰등을훈련한다. Acting I focuses on the understanding of acting basics, as well as training to cultivate the internal qualities necessary for an actor/actress. Qualities such as imagination, emotion, sense, response and observation are emphasized as a foundation for a more substantial character creation. 연기 (2) Acting 2 연기실습 (1) 에서발견된자신의연기적재능을확장시키고개발해나가는과정이다. 행동찾기, 목적찾기등을훈련하여보다구체적인인물창조를위한토대를마련한다. Acting II focuses on creating vivid characters through imagination and true expression. 호흡과발성 (1) Voice 1 링클레이터발성법과알렉산더테크닉을통하여신체와발성의습관을깨어원래의자유로운, 혹은타고난상태로돌아가기위한과정이다. 습관적인통제를없애고, 충동을인식하고따르는법을배우며, 신체의불필요한긴장을없애고효율적인호흡과발성을할수있는준비상태를만드는방법을찾아낸다. This course introduces the Linklater voice technique, an approach designed to liberate the natural function of the vocal mechanism as opposed to developing a vocal technique. Students will learn about the basics of breathing, and the relation between the body and

breathing through the Alexander movement. 호흡과발성 (2) Voice 2 발성과신체의기본적인훈련들을확장시킨다. 인물의목소리를창조하는법, 인물의감정상태에따른목소리의운용등을통하여다양한목소리를창조해낼수있는능력을연마한다. 창작극대본을텍스트로하여잘못된발음을교정하고방언의제거및습득을훈련한다. This course offers training of the vowel and consonant vocalization, the vowel rhythm and intonation in the Korean language. This course aims at achieving correct pronunciation and speech in the Korean language. 상상과표현 (1) Improvisation 1 배우로서의자기발견을목적으로한다. 개개인의창조적잠재성과상이성을바탕으로상상력과표현력을무한하게확장해나간다. 즉흥을통하여창조적인표현이자유롭게표출될수있도록한다. This course focuses on stimulating creative and active imagination. Students will be trained to decrease self-awareness to become a concrete and creative actor/actress. 상상과표현 (2) Improvisation 1 배우로서의자기개발을목적으로한다. 발상의전환을통하여신체의상징화, 은유화, 기호화로예술적표현능력을배양한다. 인형, 가면, 도구등각종오브제를활용하여, 내적 외적상상력을자극하여신체적, 공간적인표현력을극대화한다. In this course, students acquire the basic knowledge about the human body, and learn to draw on inner energy. Also, incorrect postures will be rectified to maximize the body function. GG225 연기 (3) Acting 3 사실주의연극의장면실습을통하여희곡속의인물들을창조해낸다. 행동의진실성을접목할수있는작품을선택하여희곡을바탕으로주어진환경속에서행동의진실성을창조해내는데중점을둔다. Through scene works with realism plays, students construct a physical character. By identifying and selecting from character givens and by creating clear character objectives based on given circumstances, creating a truthful action is emphasized. GG226 연기 (4) Acting 4 다양한극중인물의성격창조를위한연기훈련과정이다. 연기접근법에대한연구와심화훈련을통하여역할창조의효과적인연기방법론을체화한다. 안에서밖으로 와 밖에서안으로 의두가지연기접근방법의장단점을비교하여자기자신에맞는연기접근법을터득한다. In this course, various ways for characterization is to be explored. By in-depth research on acting styles and training, an effective method is to be embodied in the individual actor.

GG317 카메라연기 (1) Acting for the Camera 1 TV, 영화, 광고등영상매체에잘적응할수있도록카메라앞에서의연기테크닉을실습한다. In this course, students practice acting before the camera, in a way to cope with the screen media such as TV, cinema and commercial films. GG420 카메라연기 (2) Acting for the Camera 2 TV, 영화, 광고등영상매체에잘적응할수있도록카메라앞에서의연기테크닉을실습한다. GG227 움직임 (1) Movement 1 무대동작훈련을통해신체에대한새로운인식과함께신체이완, 균형, 집중력, 신체에너지를개발하고체득하는과정이다. 신체의동작을통하여다양한무대언어를창조할수있는방법을배운다. Through various stage movement exercises from both East and West, students are to enhance awareness of one's own body developing skills for relaxation, balance, and kinetic energy. Students are to equip with skills to creative and diverse stage languages. GG228 움직임 (2) Movement 2 다양한형태의창조적움직임즉, 아크로바틱, 신체마임등을연마하여무대위에서의창조적인신체표현에자유롭게활용함을목적으로한다. To develop creative movement, diverse forms of movements are explored: Acrobatic, Physical Mime 움직임 (3) Movement 3 현대무용의기본과재즈댄스를통해신체의다양한움직임을경험하고, 신체의자각과인식을바탕으로신체이완, 균형, 리듬감, 음악적신체표현의능력을확장한다. To enhance rhythmic and musical expression, various western dance techniques are explored: Modern dance, Jazz dance.

움지임 (4) Movement 4 신체의자각과인식을통하여신체적창의력과응용력을기를수있는훈련을한다. 연극워크샵 (3) 과연계하여신체표현의앙상블을터득하여체화할수있도록집단움직임, 집단안무를연마한다. Linked with Theatre Workshop 3, collective movement and choreography exercises are to be explored to enhance physical expression in ensemble. GG231 뮤지컬가창 (1) Musical Training 1 뮤지컬노래를부를수있는능력을배양하기위하여시창훈련을병행하며유명한뮤지컬곡들을선정하여가창능력을향상시킨다. Along with sight singing, popular musical numbers are to be explored. In this three-semester course, students practice the basic singing skills of Italian, German, and Korean lieder, as well as musical vocalization. Score readings and ear-training are also practiced. 뮤지컬가창 (2) Musical Training 2 검증된뮤지컬작품에서노래를선정하여작품에대한분석과연습을통해뮤지컬가창능력을향상시킨다. 음악과드라마의통합훈련및솔로, 앙상블노래극을무대위에서구현하는메소드를익힌다. Selecting well-known musical numbers, students are given training in musical singing: solo, ensemble, integrating music with drama. 연출실습 (1) Directing Practicum 1 초보연출가들이연출개념과기법들을한번에하나씩실습하여터득하도록하는단계별연출워크숍과정이다. 매수업마다연출과제가제시되며, 연기전공자들과의워크숍을통하여연출과제를해결해나가는과정에서연출개념과기법을터득한다. In the step by step workshop, each week a specific directing concept or task is assigned, and students experiment a series of practical exercises with acting major students. GG313 연출실습 (2) Directing Practicum 2 연출실습 (1) 과연계하여연출가되기위하여연극연출에필요한연출개념과기법들을실습하여터득하도록하는단계별워크숍과정이다. 매수업마다제시된연출과제들을워크숍으로만들어발표하고토론하는가운데연출개념과기법들을터득한다. Based upon the skills and techniques from I, students further practice directing concepts and skills in the step by step workshop. Each week presentations are to be held and discussion follows. GG 연출실습 (3) Directing Practicum 3

Students examine the role and function of director in a production and various directing methods. By directing a scene students are to be equipped with skills for text analysis and creating a production book. Also, the interrelationship between the style of directing and the theatre space are investigated. Important scenes from the Greek, Shakespearean, Realistic, and Experimental Theatre are to be examined raising various directing issues in different environments. GG319 연극창작실습 Practical Training of Theatre Creation 연극창작의시작에서부터공연에이르기까지공연제작의전과정을실습하며제작과정에필요한유기적인작업들을능동적으로수행할수있는능력을배양한다. 실습방법은연출전공자들을주축으로팀을구성하여장막희곡의한장면, 혹은단막극을선택하여작가및작품분석, 장면분석, 인물분석, 대사분석등을통하여연습과제작을거쳐무대발표로완성하고전과정을워크북으로작성제출한다. In this course, students are divided into small groups and experience every step of making theatre: from page to stage. Each group is operated around a directing major student, but each member is expected to contribute at each step: selecting a scene or one-act play, analysis of text and playwright, rehearsal, on-stage presentation, and submission of the production book. GG321 연극워크샵 (1) Workshop in Theatre 1 사실주의계통의완성된창작희곡 ( 단막극도가능 ) 을선정하여희곡이무대화되는과정을전체적으로습득하도록한다. 연기 (3) 에서배운리얼리즘연기술을바탕으로연기 (4) 에서배우는성격창조실습과정을워크샵에접목하여연기의리얼리티를창조한다. A through line process is to be explored with the original realism play. Actors are to create dramatic reality on stage based upon what they've learned from Acting 3(Realism) and Acting 4(characterization). GG329 연극워크샵 (2) Workshop in Theatre 2 고전희곡, 즉셰익스피어희곡을비롯한비사실주의희곡중에서작품을선정하여희곡의선정에서부터공연에이르는전과정을습득한다. 특히연기실습 (5) 에서배우는연기스타일을작품에접목시켜성격창조와더불어미학적연기를체화하는데주력한다. Students are to explore Classics, non-realism plays including Shakespeare. Actors are to graft together with Acting 5(styles). GG415 연극워크샵 (3) Workshop in Theatre 3 검증된뮤지컬대본을선정하여사전제작과정을거쳐공연에이르기까지뮤지컬의제작전반을습득하도록한다. 배우는발성과시창, 뮤지컬가창 (1), (2) 에서배운가창능력을과움직임 (3) 에서배운무용능력을바탕으로뮤지컬앙상블, 움직임 (4) 와연계하여뮤지컬연기를실현한다. Designed to introduce the student to the practical demands and staging of musical comedy in the theatre. Emphasis will be placed on specific singing and dance routines, musical comedy styles, and audition pieces. GG417 연극워크샵 (4)

Workshop in Theatre 4 대본의해석, 각색, 해체및재구성, 텍스트없이만드는공동창작등의실험적인방법으로공연을제작하는전과정을습득한다. 공연제작방식은실험적이며창조적인제작방식을표방하면서, 한편의완성된공연을제작함을목적으로한다. 또한졸업공연으로서 3년동안익힌연기를비롯하여습득한실기및이론역량을총화하여무대화해낸다. A through line production process is to be explored: text interpretation, adaptation and arrangement, and collective creation. The goal is to produce a completed theatre piece in the creative and experimental way. It is a partial fulfillment for BFA and the production is expected to be 3-year work accumulation. GG219 무대기술 (1) Stage Crafts 1 무대미술, 조명, 분장, 음향등무대형상화에필요한제반요소에대한이론적정립과더불어실제제작, 운용에필요한기술을습득하게한다. Study of basic skills of play production including scenic painting and carpentry, costume construction, lighting hang and focus, and prop construction GG330 무대기술 (2) Stage Crafts 2 무대상에구현되는창작품의주제와내용의정확한표현을위한기본예술적장치들의제요소를발견하고이를구체화시키기위한과정을습득한다. 특히무대디자인을위한기본적능력을배양하기위하여개념디자인과이를도면화하고제작할수있는기능을숙달하게한다. Introduction to scene, costume, and lighting design covering aesthetics, basic elements, principles, and practices for theatrical performance. Individual design skill development through creative project assignments. Advanced study of the principles and methods of drafting conventions and techniques employed by the theatre designer or technician. GG203 서양연극사 (1) History of Western Theatre 1 연극의기원에서부터낭만주의시대까지서양연극의변천과흐름을역사적으로탐구한다. A survey of world theatre history and literature from its origins in antiquity through the 17th century, tracing the social, political, and economic conditions in which theatre has developed around the world. A survey of world theatre history and literature from the 19th century to the 1950 s, tracing the social, political, and economic conditions in which theatre has developed around the world. GG206 희곡분석 Play Analysis 희곡해석의중요원리와분석의기술을습득한후, 희곡을구축하고있는다양한요소들을분석함으로서, 희곡을올바르게이해하고해석한다. 궁극적으로희곡의분석이연극의공연에어떤역할을하게되는지습득한다. After acquiring the essential principles and the techniques of analysis in interpreting a play, and then analyze

various elements constructing a play, so that we can understand and interpret the play correctly. Ultimately, we learn what role the analysis of the play undertakes in the performance of the play. GG338 희곡실습 Play Writing 희곡을쓰기위한기본원리와중요한규칙들을습득한후, 한편의희곡을창작한다. 주제정하기와상황설정으로부터시작하여인물, 줄거리, 플롯, 사건등희곡쓰기에필요한여러요소들의완성과정을단계적으로거치며희곡을쓰고완성하는법을습득한다. After acquiring the basic principles and fundamental rules in writing a play, and then create one piece of a play. This course traces the history of Asian theatre in India, China and Japan, conducts a performance aesthetical analysis of its development, investigates its meaning and value in the world theatre history. The Modern Korean Theatre A survey of Korean theatre history and literature from the Sin-geuk(new drama movement) to now, tracing the social, political, and economic conditions in which theatre has developed around the world, and also examining the efforts to establish the identity of Korean theatre. Investigation and exploration of special projects or experiments which will immerse students in a specific topic, technique, or concept of Avant-garde since 1960s. 20th century. GG424 개별심화실습 Individual Training This is an individual training course, in which students practice acting the styles and characters needed for actual school productions. Students are trained to reinforce their good points while complementing weak points. GG423 연극현장실습 Internship 4학년학생들이연극이나, 영화, 방송제작에직접참여하여각분야의현장감각을익히고, 학교에서학습한이론과실제를현장에서실천하고경험해본다. 현장실습신청서를작성하여지도교수에게신청하여기간동안현장에서실습한진행일지와평가서로학점을이수하는교과목이다. Designed to give senior students the opportunity and the learning experience to practice the craft of theatre off-campus in a professional situation. Students may enroll in this course only after they have been accepted into a reputable theatre organization and have received approval from the theatre faculty. Student's performance will be graded based upon one's log and evaluation letter from the theatre organization. In this course, students attend various performances on and off campus, and review them in a way to understand, analyze and evaluate their texts and production. It encourages students to have questions like: what makes it theatre? what forms and styles does it accommodate in the production? what and how does it reflect the philosophy or thoughts of our society? and so on. GG422 연극지도 Theatre Instruction 연극지도교사로서의역할과자질을함양시키기위하여연극지도방법을익힌다. 연령에따라적용할교육목표와교육방법, 내용으로연극지도안을계획하고실행할수있는능력을배양하는데목적을둔다. 아울러교육현장에서적용할수있는연기지도방법을터득한다. This course aims to enhance the students' qualification as drama teachers, through the actual teaching practice at elementary, junior high- and senior high- schools.
