5 1 소개 이 가이드는 윈도우 또는 리눅스 환경 시스템 모두에서 어떻게 Intel Solid-State Drive (SSD) Data Center Tool (DCT) 소트프웨어를 설치하는지를 말하고 있습니다. 1.1 요구사항 Intel SSD Data Center Tool 설치사항은 다음과 같습니다.: 지원되는 운영체제 o Windows* Server 2012 o Windows* Server 2008 SP2 / R2 o Windows* 7 o Red Hat* Enterprise Linux* (RHEL) 6.5 7MB의 여유 사용 공간 1.2 알려진 프로그램 설치 제한 Intel SSD Data Center Tool를 설치하기 전에 아래 제한 상항을 검토하시기 바랍니다.: 적합한 리눅스 버전은 오직 Red Hat* Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.5 버전입니다. o o 또 다른 리눅스 환경에서도 동작되어 질것입니다. 새로 업데이트 되어질 버전에서는 새로운 리눅스 환경의 추가와 공식적인 지원이 있을것입니다. 5

6 2 윈도우에서 설치와 시작 Intel SSD Data Center Tool 윈도우 버전을 다운로드하고 SSD를 시스템에 사용하기 위해 툴을 설치합니다. 2.1 Data Center Tool 설치 Data Center Tool 소프트웨어를 설치하기 위해 아래와 같이 합니다.: 1. 다운로드한 실행파일을 더블 클릭을 하면 압축이 자동으로 해제됩니다. Intel SSD Data Center Tool 사용자 설명서와.exe를 추출합니다. 2. 프로그램 설치를 위해.EXE 파일을 더블 클릭합니다.. 그러면 설치 초기 화면이 열릴 것입니다.. 3. Next 클릭. 당신의 시스템드라이브에 파일을 추출하게 됩니다.. 6

7 아래는 시스템 드라이브인 C:\isdct 디렉토리에 추출된 예시입니다.. 4. Next 클릭. 소프트웨어 툴이 저장되면 설치 완료 화면이 출력됩니다. 5. Finish 클릭. 7

8 2.2 Data Center Tool 시작하기 Intel SSD Data Center Tool 소프트웨어를 설치하기 위해 아래와 같이 합니다. 1. 윈도우 시작 버튼을 눌러 프로그램 및 파일 검색창에서 cmd. Exe 프로그램을 찾기위해 cmd 를 입력합니다. 2. 아래와 같이 오른쪽 마우스 버튼를 눌러 메뉴를 열고 Run as administrator.(관리자권한실행)를 선택합니다. 3. MS_DOS prompt 창이 실행되며, 실행파일이 추출된 디렉토리로 변경을 합니다. (예,C:\isdct\) 4. idsct 명령어를 실행합니다. 아래와 같은 실행 가능한 옵션과 명령어로 통해 단일 명령어를 실행할 수가 있습니다. isdct show intelssd For a 명령어 옵션과 속성을 위해 Intel Solid-State Drive Data Center Tool User Guide를 참조하시기 바랍니다. 8

9 2.3 Data Center Tool 삭제 아래와 같이 윈도우의 제어판에서 프로그램 추가 삭제를 통해서 Intel SSD Data Center Tool 소프트웨어를 쉽게 삭제 가능합니다: 1. 제어판에서 프로그램과 기능, 를 선택 2. 아래 표시된 것 처럼 프로그램 추가 삭제에서 Intel SSD Data Center Tool를 선택합니다. 3. 삭제 선택. 아래와 같이 프로그램 삭제에 대한 화면이 나타남. 4. Next 클릭. 프로그램 삭제에 대한 화면이 나옵니다.. 9

10 5. Next 클릭. 프로그램 삭제 완료 화면이 나옵니다. 6. Finish버튼을 누르기 전에 컴퓨터를 재부팅 할 것 인지를 결정하시기 바랍니다... 10

11 3 Linux 설치와 시작 Download the Linux version of the Intel SSD Data Center Tool and copy it to a directory (for example, C:\isdct). When the installer finishes: sdct 를 실행할 수 있는 파일들은 /usr/bin 디렉토리에 추출됩니다. dct_lib 버전은 /usr/lib 디렉토리에 위치합니다. library 파일과 해당파일들이 /usr/lib 와 /usr/lib64 에 위치될것이고 Symbolic links가 생성됩니다. 3.1 RPM Metadata 보기 아래의 명령어로 RPM metadata 를 확인할 수 있습니다: rpm q i p <package_name>.rpm 명령어를 실행 후 아래와 같이 출력값을 얻음: Name : idsct Version : Release : 1 Architecture: x86_64 Install Date: (not installed) Group : default Size : License : Intel NSG End User Software Agreement Signature : (none) Source RPM : isdct src.rpm Build Date : Fri 06 Jun :59:56 AM PDT Build Host : remlab-desktop Relocations : / Packager : Intel (R) Corporation Vendor : Intel (R) Corporation URL : Summary : Intel (R) SSD Data Center Tool Description : Intel (R) SSD Data Center Tool The Intel (R) SSD Data Center Tool provides firmware update capability as well as reading and setting many configuration settings on Intel s SSD Data Center Family of products. 11

12 3.2 Installing the Data Center Tool via GUI graphical user interface (GUI)를 사용하여 Intel SSD Data Center Tool 소프트웨어를 설치하기 위해 아래와 같이 실행합니다.: 1. 다운로드한 파일을 압축해제 합니다. Intel SSD Data Center Users Guide와 설치에 필요한 RPM 설치파일을 추출합니다.. 2. RPM 파일을 더블 클릭합니다.. 아래와 같이 확인 박스가 나타납니다. 3. Install 클릭 인증 박스가 나타납니다. 4. 관리자 비밀번호를 넣고 Authenticate 클릭. 설치가 진행되고 설치가 완료될 것입니다.. 12

13 3.3 RHEL Software Manager GUI 소프트웨어 툴의 패키지 정보 query를 위해 RHEL software manager GUI 를 사용. 도구사용를 위해 홈페이지 링크를 클릭하여 다운로드 센터 페이지로 이동합니다. 이 화면에서 Intel SSD Data Center Tool 를 클릭하고 박스에서 unchecking과 Apply 적용으로 프로그램 삭제가 가능합니다. 13
