3 > About G.I > Applications About G.I Applications Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Hotdipped galvanized steel sheets are processed by dipping coldrolled products into a hotdip galvanized pot and then plating them with zinc. The zinc s sacrificial anodes, result in excellent paintability and workability and extraordinary corrosion resistance. In 1972, Union Steel became the first Korean company to install a continuous galvanizing line; currently, we have four line in Korea. These products are widely used in home appliances and building interiors and exteriors.
