2 SIRIC News letter severance hospital Integrative Research Institute For Cerebral & Cardiovascular Diseases 주요 행사 세브란스 뇌심혈관질환 융합연구 사업단 개소식 5월 21일 각 계의 인사들과 성대히 개최 주요 행사 국내 학술 행사 SIRIC Lecture 연구 공간 조성이 완료된 2009년 5월 21일, 세브란 스 뇌심혈관질환 융합연구 사업단의 출범을 알리 는 개소식이 김한중 총장과 박창일 의료원장을 비 롯해 권영진 한나라당 의원, 김법완 보건산업진흥 원장, 일본 국립 순환기병 센터 총장 등 국내외 인 사들이 참석한 가운데 성대히 개최되었다. 또 이 날 오후에는 일본 국립순환기병센터와 한일 공동 심 포지엄을 개최하여 480여 명의 국내외 혈관 관련 연구자들과 함께 사업단의 연구 분야 및 상호간 공통 관심사에 대한 심도있는 의견을 나누었다. SIRIC-NCVC MOU 체결 전용 상호 협조로 연구역량 강화 기대 뇌심혈관질환 융합연구사업단(SIRIC)이 일 본 국립순환기병센터(NCVC)와 업무협약 3차 6차 Cellular MR Imaging for bench to bedside translation 송호택교수 (연대의대 영상의학교실) Small animal imaging for Biomedical Research 이정희교수 (성균관의대 영상의학과) 일시 2009년 6월 1일(월) 장소 의대131호 Targeting vascular endothelium: What to do? & How to do? 권영근교수 (연세대학교 생명시스템대학) Critical Regulators for Angiogenesis and Lymphangiogenesis 고규영교수 (KAIST 생명과학기술대학 ) 일시 2009년 9월 7일(월) 장소 의대131호 (MOU)를 체결하여 융합연구에 탄력을 받 을 전망이다. SIRIC 김동익 단장(의대 영상 의학)과 NCVC 겐지 강가와 연구소장은 21 일 병원장실 회의실에서 MOU 체결식을 갖 고 향후 중계연구가 이뤄질 수 있도록 협 력을 약속했다. 이 날 이 철 세브란스병원장을 비롯해 의 료원측 인사와 노부오 하시모토 NCVC 센터장과 겐지 강가와 NCVC 연구소장 등 NCVC 측 인사가 참석해 향후 발전방향에 대해 논의했다. NCVC는 일본 오사카에 600병상 규모로 운영되는 순환기(혈관질환) 전문병원으로, 첨단기술을 이용한 심혈관질환이나 인공심장 등 치료제를 개발하고 있다. 연간 국제학회에 게재되는 논문은 250~300 여 편에 이른다. YIRIC는 31년 역사를 지닌 NCVC와의 협약체결로 혈관질환 관련 연구역량을 강화한다는 구상이다. Integrative Research on Vascular Biology & Medicine"라는 주제로 7명의 국내외 연 자들이 뇌심혈관질환 관련 중개연구에 대한 학술 발표를 하였으며 약 480여명의 청중이 참석하여 성대하게 진행되었다. 3
