아키텍처및주요구성요소 EX9200 캠퍼스및데이터센터코어이더넷스위치는다수의아키텍처컴포넌트를공유합니다. 이스위치에채용된라우팅엔진은 Junos OS를실행하여모든레이어 2 및레이어 3 프로토콜을처리하는반면, 스위치패브릭모듈은섀시를관리하고라인카드에서발생하는데이터트래픽의경로를변경할수있는기능을제공합니다. 모든 EX9200 플랫폼에공통적으로사용되는 EX9200 라인카드에는네트워크트래픽을처리하는 PFE(Packet Forwarding Engine) 와확장이용이한로컬제어기능을지원하는라인카드프로세서가탑재되어있습니다. 위치처럼보이도록연결할수있도록함으로써네트워크복잡성을줄이고, 네트워크관리를간소화하며, 총운영비용을절감시킵니다. Junos Fusion Enterprise 구축에서 EX9200 스위치는 Junos OS를실행하고토폴로지내의모든디바이스에대한구성, 모니터링, 유지보수를맡아어그리게이션디바이스역할을수행하는단일관리포인트가됩니다 ( 그림 1 참조 ). Junos Fusion Enterprise는현재 EX9200RE, EX9200-40T, EX9200-32XS, EX9200-6QS에서지원됩니다. 향후소프트웨어릴리즈에서추가로라인카드가지원될예정입니다. 대형데이터센터에배치하기적합하도록설계되어있습니다. 가령, EX9200 아키텍처는 Head-of-line blocking 이전혀발생하지않으며, 단일계층의고속스위치패브릭, 효율적인멀티캐스트복제처리및딥버퍼링 (deep buffering) 을특징으로하기때문에대규모환경에서퍼포먼스를유지할수있습니다. EX9200 섀시미드플레인은독립적인경로를통해다양한시스템컴포넌트에제어및관리신호를전달하고시스템전역에전원을공급합니다. 데이터전송부의신호는차세대패브릭 ASIC에이상적인최고의신호품질을선사하는특수패스스루커넥터시스템을통해 EX9200 라인카드에서 EX9200 스위치패브릭모듈로직접전송됩니다. Floor n Closet Floor 0 Closet Closet Closet 온도에따라속도가변하는예비냉각팬을갖춘 EX9200의팬트레이는무중단가동상태를유지할수있도록라인카드, 라우팅엔진및스위치패브릭모듈을냉각시킵니다. 또한 EX9200 파워써플라이는고유전력을시스템이필요로하는내부전압으로변환합니다. 모든 EX9200 컴포넌트는핫스왑 (Hot-swap) 이가능하며모든핵심기능은예비구성상태에서도사용하는데전혀문제가없습니다. 따라서정비나수리가이뤄지는동안에도시스템이계속가동상태를유지하므로 HA가보장됩니다. EX9200 라인카드는 Juniper One 맞춤형실리콘을기반으로구현되어 802.1Q VLAN, 링크어그리게이션, VRRP(Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol), L2-L3 매핑, 포트모니터링과같은다양한레이어 2 및레이어 3 기술을지원합니다. 그밖에도 EX9200 라인카드는필터링, 샘플링, 로드밸런싱, 속도제한, CoS(Class of Service) 외에도, 신뢰할수있는고성능이더넷인프라스트럭처를구축하는데필요한기타핵심기능을지원합니다. EX9200 라우팅엔진 EX9200 스위치의라우팅엔진 (Routing Engine, RE) 은주니퍼네트웍스라우터에서사용되는것과동일한현장에서검증된하드웨어아키텍처를사용합니다. 이를통해주니퍼라우터가전세계주요서비스프로바이더네트워크에서제공하는것과동일한캐리어급성능과안정성을 EX9200에서구현합니다. RE의중앙 CPU는 EX9200의모든시스템컨트롤기능을실행하고하드웨어포워딩테이블과라우팅프로토콜상태를관리합니다. RE 상의전용하드웨어가환경모니터링과같은섀시관리기능을지원합니다. RE 모듈과개별라인카드간의통신은전용내부 GbE 아웃오브밴드 (out-of-band) 컨트롤인터페이스를통해이루어집니다. EX9200 라우팅엔진 (RE) 은 EX9200-RE 및 EX9200-RE2가있습니다. EX9200-RE는쿼드코어 1.73 GHz Intel 프로세서, 16 기가바이트 DRAM, 그리고 Junos OS 이미지및로그를위해각각 32 GB 스토리지를제공하는 2 개의프론트플러거블 SSD가내장된 RE를통해컨트롤플레인및매니지먼트플레인기능을지원합니다.
