Its diagnosis could be made accurately o n clinical grounds and characteristic appearances of plain X-rays and angiography, but computed tomography is undoubtedly the most accurate diagnostic method yet available. t the department of radiology, Kyung Hee University Hospital, 33 patients of intracranial meningiomas were examined with EM I 5005 CT scanner from October 1977 to J uly The following results were obtained_ 1. The correct diagnosis was made in 31 out of 33 cases (94%). 2. The sex ratio was 20 females to 13 males and the greatest number of cases (36%) were seen in fifth decade. 3. The prevalent sites were convexity (27%), Falx (15%) and parasagittal (12%) in orders. 4. The precontrast scans appeared as isodensity in 16 cases (48%), high density in 1.1 cases (33%) and heterogenous density in 6 cases (18%). In contrast study, all of the meningiomas were enhanced and well defined. The most frequent enhancement pattern was dense homogenous enhancement in 18 cases (55%). 5. Intratumoral calcifi cations of various extent we re found in 7 o ut of 33 cases (21 %). 6. Peritumoral low density area was present in 29 cases (88%) and it tend to be m inimal in 66%, moderate in 31 % and marked in 3%. 7. Tumor adjacent hyperostosis was found in 10 cases (30%). 8. The postcontrast scan shows rim-like enhancement along the margin of the cystic lesion with inner enhanced isodense mass. 造影 t 曾嗤된陣塊의樣뼈은均等하고짧著한造影增週 을보안境遇가 1 8 例 (55%) 로써가장많았고 (Fig. 1, 2, 3, 4. ), 不均원한造影增행을보인境遇가 9 例 (27 %) 로써두벤째로많았으며이中 l 찌에서는輪狀의造影增행을보였마 (F i g. 6). 그밖에均等하고輕徵한造影 1 험파 E 을보인상 ij 펀가 4fýI}(l 2%) 이었고, 造 gνt 휩꺼 F 을보 l 변서 1 페塊內에때많한班뽕, ~î 樣 :fi Vd t. 를보안평遇가

Hyperostosis 10(33% CT 所見上뻐짧찌떼은 - 般的으로均훤한밟많를보 이는陣평으로써造影힘 Il ì:j:: 入前周圍빠폈質짧織과同풍 그例 2 (6%) 이었다 (Fig. 5). 하거나高密度의所見을보이고造影빼注入後大部分이 l 탤塊周맴底密度領域은 29 例 (88%) 에서볼수있었고, 均等한造影 f 曾랬을일으키는特徵的안所見을보인다고 그程度는輕度가 19 例 (48%) 로가장많았고, 中等度가알려져왔다 2, 8, 1μ8, 19, 20 ) 917u (27%), 重度가 1 例 (3%) 이었고, 全然보이지않았著者들의 f 列에서는造彩웹注入前所見 J: 16 1 꺼 J(48%) 에 던境週는 4 例 (12%) 로써이들部位는따上部 2 例, 媒서周떠 )J 싫펴 " 따웹級과同원한密度를보여가장많았고 形뀔 修홉! 11 키 j, 橋 [1-J 部 lf: 케이었다 (T a ble 4).
