3 Newsletter Vol. 46 연구원동정 최무영교수이론물리학연구소소장취임 ( ) 최무영교수가이론물리학연구소제 8 대소장으로취임하였다. 김두철교수고등과학원원장취임 ( ) 우리나라기초과학선도적연구기관인고등과학원제5대원장에김두철교수가취임하였다. 김도윤, 김지훈학생한 -CERN 협력사업의 대학원생파견프로그램에선정 ( ) 다. 올해 3월부터시작된 LHC 실험결과를가까이에서지켜보면서세계적인수준의학자들과의공동연구를통해매우뜻깊은경험을쌓는기회가될것이다. 한-CERN 협력사업은한국이 CERN의 LHC 실험에참여하는사업으로, 매년한-CERN 이론물리 Fellow를선정하여 2년간 CERN 에서박사후연구원으로연구를할수있게하고있으며, 또한매년 2명의대학원생을선정하여 6개월간파견하는프로그램이다. 대학원생파견프로그램은올해처음시작되었는데그첫번째선정자로김도윤, 김지훈학생 ( 지도교수김형도 ) 이선정되었다. 두학생은 2010년 10월부터 6개월간 CERN에파견되어김도윤학생은 Urs Wiedemann 교수와, 김지훈학생은 Gian Giudice 교수와공동연구를진행하게된 배규정박사청암과학 Post-doc 펠로에선정 ( ) 포스코청암재단에서는국내의대학과연구소에서젊은과학자를선발해국내에서안정감과자긍심을갖고연구에전념할수있도록청암과학펠로십프로그램을운영하여지원하고있다. 2010년도물리학부분의총 3명중물리천문학부에서박사학위를취득한배규정박사 ( 지도교수김형도 ) 가선정되었다. 1
