시작하기앞서 Oracle 및 ArcSDE 설치를하기전에자신이설치하고자하는 Oracle 버전과그에호환되는운영체제를반드시확인하기바람. 노트 : 이문서는 Windows XP Professional SP2(32bit) 상에 Oracle10g(10.2.0.1) 를설치하여호환성을보장하지않는환경에서의오류처리도살펴보았다. 2 단계 : SDE 계정 Repository 설정 C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcSDE\ora10gexe\etc 폴더의 dbtune.sde 파일을메모장으로연다. Dbtune.sde 는 Oracle DBMS Storage Parameter 파일이다. ##<Keyword이름 > 으로시작해 ##END로끝나는구조를취하며, B_,F_,S_A_,D_ 등 Table구조를이용한다. 또한 # 을사용해서한행을주석처리할수있다. 노트 : dbtune의매개변수들은새로운 dbtune 테이블이오라클 SDE 유저에생성될때, dbtune 테이블로 insert 된다. 즉, 한번 dbtune 테이블이생성되었다면더이상 dbtune 파일은사용되지않는다. 따라서이미 dbtune 테이블이생성되었을경우먼저파일로 dbtune 테이블을내보내기해서, 수정한후다시가져오기해야한다. 이를위한명령어로 sdedbtune이사용된다. - Export : C:\sdedbtune.exe -o export -f Ex_dbtune.sde -i esri_sde -u sde -p sde - Import : C:\sdedbtune.exe -o import -f Ex_dbtune.sde i esri_sde -u sde -p sde 10 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA

Windows 환경에서 ArcSDE 9.3 설치및구성 ##DATA_DICTIONARY 부분을찾고 B_STORAGE 와 B_INDEX_ROWID 부분을위와같이변경한다.! TABLESPACE 라인처음부분의 # 을제거했는지확인한다. SDEGDB 부분은 SDE계정을위해만든 Tablespace 이름을적는다. Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA 11

위와같이하이라이트된부분을변경한다.! 만약 Versioning repository tablespace를 ( 예 sde_mvgdb) 생성했다면 SDEGDB 를 sde_mvgdb 로변경한다. 이문서에서는한개의 tablespace를사용한다. 12 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA

Windows 환경에서 ArcSDE 9.3 설치및구성 sdesetup 명령어를실행시켜 parameter 를확인한다. sdesetup 명령어는 ArcSDE Repository 를설치하거나업그레이드할때사용된다. Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA 13

Sde 계정권한설정과저장공간설정작업은이미했으므로, Authorize ArcSDE 와 Create ArcSDE Service 항목만체크하고다음 (N) 버튼을클릭한다. SDE User 이름과 Password, Net service name 을지정하고다음 (N) 버튼을클릭한다. 16 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA

Windows 환경에서 ArcSDE 9.3 설치및구성 위그림은 XP 에설치했을때발생하는오류메세지이다. 문서서두에언급했지만 Windows XP 에서 는완벽한호환성을보장하지않기때문에 DB 시스템에는다른 OS 를설치하는것이좋다.! 만약 오류메시지가출력되면, 이전의 Net service name 을공란으로하고재시도한다. 다음 (N) 버튼을클릭한다. Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA 17

시작 > 실행 > services.msc 를실행하고, OracleServiceSDBGDB 를더블클릭한다. OracleServiceSDEGDB 서비스에서중지 (T) 버튼을클릭한다. 종속성탭에서 ArcSde Service(esri_sde) 가생성됐음을확인할수있다. 22 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA

ArcSde Service(esir_sde) 가자동으로실행되지않으면다음과같이시작한다. Command 창에서 sdemon o status i esri_sde 명령으로연결상태를확인한다. 이명령로 giomgr 프로세스가정상적으로작동하고, 현재의연결이없음을알수있다. 24 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA

Windows 환경에서 ArcSDE 9.3 설치및구성 giomgr 프로세스는 Windows 작업관리자에서확인할수있다. giomgr 프로세스 : 각각의 ArcSDE 서비스들은한개의 giomgr 프로세스를갖는다. 이프로세스는 Application 연결로들어오는사용자의 request를처리하는역할을한다. 하나의 giomgr 프로세스는여러개의 gsrvr 프로세스를생성할수있으며, 사용자의요청에따라 gsrvr로연결해주는중개자역할을한다. 예를들어 A 사용자는 ArcView를통해접속하고, B 사용자는 ArcIMS를통해 connect할경우, giomgr 프로세스는두요청을각각의전용 gsrvr 프로세스로할당시켜준다. gsrvr 프로세스 : 모든클라이언트의 Read/Write request를서비스한다. 클라이언트가가연결을종료하면, 그때프로세스가종결된다. 4 단계 : Connection 생성 ArcCatalog 에서 Database Connections 를확장하여 Add Spatial Database Connection 을더블클 릭한다. Server 에장비이름을입력하고서비스에는 5151, User 에 sde 와 Password 를입력하고 Test Connection 버튼을클릭한다. 성공하면 connection succeeded 라는메시지박스가나타난다. Connection 방법에따른차이 Application Server Connection : Application Server 방식은클라이언트단의 GIS 소프트웨어와, 서버단의 ArcSDE gsrvr프로세스, 같은서버컴퓨터에있는 Oracle Server 프로세스로구성된다. 이구성에서 ArcSDE 라이브러리는클라이언트와서버간의통신을제공하며, Application Server Connection을구조화하기위해 ArcSDE 인스턴스는실행상태 (Running) 이어야한다. Direct Connection : ArcSDE 8.1.0 for Oracle8i부터소개되었던기존의연결방식이다. Direct Connection은두가지의컴포넌트를포함한다. 이는 GIS 소프트웨어, 그리고이것과연결된 Oracle instance 이다. 이는 Database로직접연결되기때문에 ArcSDE 서비스가필요하지않다. 그렇기때문에 giomgr이나 gsrvr 프로세스가서버단에서필요하지않게되었다. ArcSDE gsrvr 프로세스에의해제공된기능은클라이언트단의 Direct Connect 드라이버에의해처리되며, 이 Direct Connect 드라이버는 ArcSDE 8.1.0 버전부터지원됐다. 또한현재는 Oracle Net Networking 소프트웨어가클라이언트와서버를연결해주는역할을함으로 Direct 26 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA

Windows 환경에서 ArcSDE 9.3 설치및구성 드라이버가직접서버와연결할필요가없어졌다. OLE DB Connection : OLE DB Connection은기본적으로비공간데이터를사용하기때문에 ArcSDE를사용할필요가없다. 이기능은 ArcGIS Desktop 클라이언트와 Oracle을속성정보만으로연결한다. 각각의 Connection 방법 ArcCatalog 에서 Application Server Connection 설정방법 Server 항목에 <hostname> 이나 <IP address> 를적고, Service 항목에 <Port Numb> 를적은후 User 와 Password 를적고 Test Connection 을클릭하면, Connection 이성공했다는메시지를볼 수있다. ArcCatalog 에서 Direct Connection 설정방법 Service 항목에 sde:oracle10g:/;local=<net Service Name> 을적어주고, User 과 Password 를적 은후, Test Connection 을클릭하면, Connection 에성공했다는메시지를볼수있다. 노트 : <Net Service Name> 은 SDE가설치되어있는장비의 Net Service Name를사용한다. Optional 문서 Windows환경에서 ArcSDE 9.3 분산설치및구성 참고! Oracle Server Instance Name(System Identifier : SID), Oracle Net Service Name, Tablespace Name 를잘구분해야한다. 이문서에서는 SID와 Net Service Name, Tablespace 이름을모두 SDEGDB 로사용했음을기억하도록한다. 28 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA

서버이름입력창에 <Net Service Name> 를적고연결테스트 (T) 를클릭하면, 연결테스트를성 공했다는메시지창을볼수있다.! 선택한 OLE DB 공급자는 ESRI가아닌 Microsoft이며, Microsoft Access에서외부데이터를가져올때서버이름 (Data Source) 을사용하게된다. 그래서 OLE DB Connection에있어정확한의미전달이안되는부분이있는듯하며, 여기서는서버이름을사용하는것이아니라 <Net Service Name> 을사용하도록한다. 30 Copyright 2009 ESRI KOREA
