The exclamation point triangle is used to alert the user to important operating or maintenance instructions. This device is designed and evaluated under the condition of 2000 meters tall above sea level; and, it can be only used in locations below 2000 meters tall above sea level. Using the device above 2000 meters altitude would result in high safety risk. 6

R C Take care of connection because the 48V power is always provided to the XLR terminal for the microphone which requires phantom power for the condenser or the instrument microphone on the rear MC input terminal. 18 How to operate - MC MOD The same DT item for MC LL MOD and MC CH MOD. MC DT LST 1. nput Gain The gain of mic input is conrolled by DSP and separately operated from the hardware gain volume. The value of the microphone from this DT MU is adjusted by the SL/VLU control knob. Take care that the number of available microphones depends on MC Setup Select (MC LL, MC CH). 2. High-Pass Filter t is a function to cut the low frequency band of the MC PUT signal. This HPF may eliminate unnecessary area of low frequency from the MC setting. 3. Low-Pass Filter t is a function to cut the high frequency band of the MC PUT signal. This LPF may eliminate unnecessary area of high frequency from the MC setting. 4. Select Q Mode MC MOD has 2 Q types. User may select and use graphic Q used in the existing P system and parametric Q which may adjust the Q. The remaining Qs are stored in the memory even though Q type changes. 5. Q dit This menu reflects Q type selected in the Q Mode aqselect MU. The user may individually adjust a total of 15 Q bands with the range of 20Hz and 20kHz. (Dedicated to the PQ) The variable db width for each band is +-12dB. * DT MU screen depends on the Q Mode Select. 18

19 How to operate - MC MOD The same DT item for MC LL MOD and MC CH MOD. MC DT LST 6. Q Bypass Q Bypass menu deactivates Q applied to the MC. Q will be off if Q Bypass is O. The adjusted Q data is stored in the memory despite running this function. GLSH S F T Y 7. High-Pass Filter t is DT menu which cuts noise signal included in microphone input signal. This function recognizes the signal below the digital level configured to the threshold as noise to be mute. 8. Compressor C O C T O Compressor is a dynamic range effector which adjusts the strength of the input signal, compresses a large sound with a certain ratio to reduce the gap in the minimum sound. 21 How to operate FFCT MOD GLSH FFCT DT LST (CHO) 1. Select cho Type The TF-100 has 4 types of echo. This menu is a screen to select the microphone echo type. Using the ndroid PP or PC control program may adjust pan for each tap in echo and time in detail. * TYP : MOO, STRO, TRPL, MULT 2. cho Volume t is the menu which adjusts the echo volume. The out volume may adjust the specific item from 0 to 100%. 3. cho Delay S F T Y C O C T O t is the menu which adjusts the time among echo reflected sound. The reflected sound is displayed dense with shorter time. *Unit: Millisecond (1/1000 sec) 4. cho Feedback P R F R This menu adjust the duration time for the echo reflected sound. t is adjusted from 0 to 100% and higher ratio means longer duration time. C 5. cho High-Pass Filter t is the menu which may cut the low frequency area of the echo reflected sound. Setting up the echo may reduce unnecessary low frequency area. However, the menu does not affect the direct microphone sound. T C. 21

22 How to operate FFCT MOD FFCT DT LST (CHO) 6. cho Low-Pass Filter t is the menu which may cut the high frequency area of the echo reflected sound. Setting up the echo may reduce unnecessary high frequency area. However, the menu does not affect the direct microphone sound. Sound source Reflector t is the effector of overlapping the reflected sound with the gap in the direct sound as shown in the figure on the left. The individual echo of the selected cho may adjust the pan and the time for each tap. (Use the PC and ndroid PP) Direct sound Reflected sound FFCT DT LST (RVRB) 1. Select Reverb Type The TF-100 contains 15 reverb types. This menu selects the microphone reverb type. *TYP : Short Room, Short Room B, Short Room C, Room, Room B, Small Hall, Small Hall B, Large Hall, Large Hall B, Short Plate, Vocal Plate, Church, Church B, Cathedral, Spring Reverb 2. Reverb Volume 22 t is the menu which adjusts the reverb volume. The out volume may adjust the specific item from 0 to 100%.

23 How to operate - FFCT MOD GLSH FFCT DT LST (RVRB) 3. Reverb Pre-Delay This is the menu which adjusts the delay time for the initial reflected sound during the reverb. The time between the direct sound and the reverb reduces for shorter time. Meanwhile, extended time may express wider space. *Unit: Millisecond (1/1000 sec) 4. Reverb Time t is the menu which determines the duration time for the reverb like the echo feedback. *Unit: Second 5. Reverb High-Pass Filter S F T Y C O C T O This is the menu which may cut the low frequency area of the reverb. Setting up the reverb reduces the unnecessary low frequency area and changes the tone. However, the menu does not affect the direct microphone sound. P R F R cho Sound source Direct sound cho The reverb is an effector which expresses echos in the space and a synthesis of a lot of echos reflected from a certain space. Combined with the direct sound may express natural spatial impression. The specific adjustment for the 15 type reverbs is done by the control program. (Use the PC and ndroid PP) C T C. 23

24 How to operate - MUSC MOD How to use the MUSC DT STP 1 : nter the MUSC STUP MU. - Push the MUSC MOD button. STP 2 : Select the MUSC DT item. - djust SL/VLU control knob to the left or right and push. STP 3 : djust the specific MC DT value. - djust SL/VLU control knob to the left or right and exit. djust the gain of MUSC PUT s shown in the picture above, the music input may be selected in the 2 Stereo of the BGM and the UX. Connect the external device output to the audio input with the RC conector and adjust the gain with a proper input range. The BGM and the UX have their own each gain volume. When video input is used, video on the monitor will display according to the selected audio input. 24

25 How to operate - MUSC MOD GLSH MUSC DT LST 1. nput Gain The music input gain is the DSP controlled gain volume which separately works with the rear hardware gain volume. The value of the voice signal from this menu is adjusted by SL/VLU control knob. The item is applied to 2 audio inputs (BGM, UX) the same. 2. High-Pass Filter t is a function to cut the low frequency band of the music input signal. This memu may eliminate unnecessary area of low frequency from connecting the external device. 3. Low-Pass Filter S F T Y C O C T O t is a function to cut the high frequency band of the music input signal. This menu may eliminate unnecessary area of high frequency from connecting the external device. 4. Q Mode Select P R F R The MUSC MOD has 2 Q types. The user may select and use the graphic Q used in the existing P system and the Parametric Q which may additionally adjust the Q. The remaining Qs are stored in the memory even though the Q type changes. 5. Q dit This menu reflect the Q type selected in the Q mode select menu. The user may individually adjust a total of 15 Q bands with the range of 20Hz and 20kHz. 28 How to operate - OUT MOD (Speaker management system) OUT DT LST (LL OUTPUTS) 1. OUTPUT Volume t is the output volume applied to all outputs. The volume is located on MOD menu group at the front of TF-100 for speaker volume. 2. OUTPUT Volume from MC This menu indicates the level transmitted from the MC block to each OUT. The MC volume can be separately adjusted for each OUTPUT. (M, CTR, SUBWOOFR, SURROUD) 3. OUTPUT Volume from MUSC This menu indicates the level transmitted from the Music block to each OUT. The Music volume can be separately adjusted for each OUTPUT. (M, CTR, SUBWOOFR, SURROUD) 4. OUTPUT Volume from FFCT This menu indicates the level transmitted from the FFCT block to each OUT. The ffect volume can be separately adjusted for each OUTPUT. (M, CTR, SUBWOOFR, SURROUD) 5. Q DT ach OUTPUT contains the 3 band PQ function. The frequency and the Q may be adjusted for each band and the variable db width is +-12dB. Unlike the MC and MUSC, the Q type may not change. 28

29 How to operate - OUT MOD (Speaker management system) GLSH OUT DT LST (LL OUTPUTS) 6. Q Bypass The Q bypass menu deactivates the Q applied to the OUTPUT. The Q is off if the Q Bypass is on. The adjusted Q data is stored in the memory despite running this function. 7. OUT-Delay This menu controls several speakers in a single space. The audio signal transmitted to the OUT is generated with the configured delay time. Using this function helps reduce the phase change among the speakers in a large space. 8. OUT Limiter S F T Y C O C T O The OUT Limiter is similar to the compressor in the MC and MUSC functions. t limits the volume higher than the configured digital level to prevent external devices from damages due to excessive audio signal output. OUT DT LST (Dedicated to the Center and Subwoofer) 1. Center High-Pass Filter P R F R C t is the menu which may cut the low frequency area of the center output. This may reduce unnecessary low frequency area while setting up the center speaker. n addition, the function supports 2 filter type modes of -12dB/OCT and -24dB/OCT. 2. Center Low-Pass Filter t is the menu which may cut the high frequency area of the center output. This may reduce unnecessary high frequency area while setting up the center speaker. n addition, the function supports 2 filter type modes of -12dB/OCT and -24dB/OCT. T C. 29

30 How to operate - OUT MOD (Speaker management system) OUT DT LST (Dedicated to the Center and Subwoofer) 3. Subwoofer Phase t is the mode which may select the phase of the audio signal transmitted to the subwoofer amplifier. The phase may be shifted by adjusting the item in case of the problem between the main speaker and the phase reverse in setting up the speaker for the subwoofer features. 4. Subwoofer High-Pass Filter t is the menu which may cut the low output area of the subwoofer output. This may reduce unnecessary low frequency area while setting up the subwoofer speaker. n addition, the function supports 2 filter type modes of -12dB/OCT and -24dB/OCT. 5. Subwoofer Low-Pass Filter t is the menu which may cut the high frequency area of the subwoofer output. This may reduce unnecessary high frequency area while setting up the subwoofer speaker. n addition, the function supports 2 filter type modes of -12dB/OCT and -24dB/OCT. The range of the subwoofer Low-Pass Filter is determined from the factor considering the features in the subwoofer speaker for the subwoofer output. 30

31 How to operate - FBC (Feedback canceler) GLSH FBC operation S F T Y The TF-100 has the best Feedback prevention technology with no compromising the original sound, which is totally different from otch Filter type of feedback canceller. The Feedback may be easily eliminated by using the FBC (Feedback Canceller) knob on the front panel. Configure the proper setting between -10 and +10 depending on the system which connects the TF-100. Operation principle of the FBC C O C T O nput signal P R F SHFT R MC Output signal Speaker C part of the output signal transmitted to the speaker through the MC enters the input signal and increases the improved output and this is called the positive feedback. TF-100 shifts the positive feedback element entering the input signal with the algorithm for prevention of feedback. t is more effective to set up with the proper value in the + or - direction depending on the features in the space. 32 How to operate - MUSC KY (Pitch shift) Operate the MUSC KY t is the function for key shift using the audio signal from the external device entered from the rear audio input. Click the front 'MUSC KY' button to immediately display the KY shift on the main screen. The shift range of the MUSC KY - Semitone Default + Semitone 32

33 How to operate SV GLSH Save the current preset STP 1 : SV. - Push SV button. S F T Y STP 2 : Select SV position. - djust SL/VLU control knob to the left or right and push. STP 3 : Select SV position and confirm. - djust SL/VLU control knob to the left or right and push. The message for when no data value on selected position STP 4 : Make Preset name for SV. 1) djust SL/VLU control knob to the left or right to select text for change and push. 2) Change name of preset via SL/VLU knob. 3) Push SL/VLU knob and move to next TXT. 4) f completed move to OK and push SL/VLU knob. 34 TF-100 control program install guide (ndroid) How to install the ndroid PP STP 1 : Download the ndroid PP. - Download the ndroid application for TF-100 on the official website of TJ Media or Google Play Store. Please refer to the upgrade information on the control application for TF STP 2 : xecute TF-100 PK file. - Touch the downloaded ndroid PP PK file for execution. STP 3 : nstallation. TF-100 ndroid PP uses the Bluetooth system in the device. Touch the nstall button to proceed. STP 4 : nstallation completed. - The installation is completed if the completion message in the figure right appears. The installed application may be found in the application folder. 34

35 How to connect the TF-100 Bluetooth GLSH Check the information on the TF-100 Bluetooth S F T Y ach TF-100 product contains its unique Bluetooth information. The user may select a certain product and control it using the Bluetooth identification number. Click the MU button to check the Bluetooth identification number as shown above. TF-100 Bluetooth pairing 1. System Bluetooth pairing. Find out the Bluetooth identification number confirmed by the system in the ndroid tablet and perform the pairing. The user may arbitrarily change the TF-100 identification number after the pairing. 2. nterlink with the TF-100 PP. xecute the TF-100 PP after pairing the system to show the linkable devices as shown right. Select the device under control from the popup window and touch Connect button to complete the connection. C O C T O P R F R C T C. 35

36 TF-100 control program install guide (Windows) nterworking with WDOWS 1. nstallation file type. xtract the compressed file to use the TF-100 USB driver (TF100Win_Driver) folder and the installation file (TF100_Setup.exe). 2. Run TF100_Setup.exe file. xecute TF100_Setup.exe installation file to display the installation window right. Select the installation destination in the destination folder and click nstall for the installation of the program. 3. nstallation completed. The message of completing the shortcut created appears on the wallpaper and the execution icon appears as below. 36

(Check the USB port location of TF-100) T C. 37

38 TF-100 control program install guide (Windows) nterworking with WDOWS 7. Check TF-100 in the device manager. TF-100 is found in the device manager as Other Device when in USB connection. However, it is okay to ignore if the installation failure message shows up at the tray icon after automatic search for the device driver. 8. Update the driver. Select TF-100 device from the device manager and right-click the mouse to select Update Driver Software. 9. Manually install the driver. Click 'Browse my computer for driver software' on the update driver software. 38

Select the driver location. Designate where TF100Win_Driver is on the Browse For Folder popup window as the right picture. However, select the folder with your Windows version in the sub-folder and then click OK. (Support 32- and 64-bit Windows) C O C T O P R F R 12. nstallation warning window. Designate the folder and click OK button to appear the warning window. Select nstall this driver software anyway and proceed the installation. C T C. 39

High-Pass Filter Menu DT memotong sinyal gangguan suara(noise) yang dimasukan dalam sinyal input mikrofon. Fungsi ini mengenali sinyal di bawah level digital yang dikonfigurasikan ke ambang batas agar noise tak terdengar. 8. Compressor Compressor adalah effector rentang dinamis yang menyesuaikan kekuatan sinyal input, memampatkan suara besar(large sound) dengan rasio tertentu untuk mengurangi gap di dalam sound yang minimum.
