Abstract In this paper, a double split-ring resonator(dsrr) is proposed to improve the isolation between Vivaldi antenna elements. The DSRR was designed using a unit cell simulation and applied to a 1 2 Vivaldi antenna array to confirm the improvement in the isolation. The unit cell size of the proposed DSRR is 5 mm 5 mm 1.52 mm and six unit cells are used. To verify the performance of the proposed DSRR, 1 2 Vivaldi antenna arrays with and without the DSRR were fabricated and measured. The results show an isolation improvement of 20 db in the Vivaldi antennas with the DSRR when compared to the Vivaldi antennas without the DSRR. Simulated and measured results of S-parameters. 이 있는 모델과 DSRR이 없는 모델 모두 제작하였으며, 기판 가장자리에 있는 4개의 post를 통하여 두 개의 기판 을 적층하였다. 그림 8은 모의실험 및 측정된 산란계수 결과이다. Agilent 8510C 네트워크 분석기를 사용하여 측 정하였으며, 측정된 S 값은 두 모델 모두 9.5 GHz 대역 에서 10 db 이하의 값을 갖는다. S 결과에서 보면 측 정된 DSRR의 공진점이 모의실험 결과 대비 고주파에서 공진을 갖는데, 이것은 제작상의 오차로 보인다. 그림 9 는 모의실험 및 측정된 방사패턴의 그래프이다. 제작된 안테나의 방사패턴 측정은 포트 1에서 신호를 인가하고, 포트 2는 50 Ω의 부하로 종단시켜 이루어졌다. 방사패턴 의 측정은 9.8 GHz에서 이루어졌다.
