1 Azzedine Ala a 작품의디자인특성고찰 이지현 박신미 + + A Study of the Design Characteristics of the Works of Azzedine Alaa - Focused on Women s Collections Created between the 1980s and 2010s - Jihyeon Lee Shinmi Park+ Master, Dept. of Clothing & Textiles, Andong National University Associate Professor, Dept. of Clothing & Textiles, Andong National University+ The purpose of this research is to analyze the design characteristics of Azzedine Alaa s works with a main focus on the women s fashion collection he created between S/S 1980 and S/S The major objectives of this research included (a) exploration of the development of Azzedine Alaa s brand; (b) study of the characteristics exhibited by Azzedine Alaa s works in each decade; (c) investigation of the formative and aesthetic characteristics of Azzedine Alaa s designs; and (d) further study of the design attributes of his works. To achieve these objectives, this study analyzed 412 pictures of Alaa s designs along with 19 collection videos and further categorized these materials by color, silhouette, and fabric. This study employs a qualitative research method that includes a review of the previous studies and analysis of Azzedine Alaa s works. Overall, it can be observed that the formative characteristics of Azzedine Alaa s designs are (i) the construction of a realistic silhouette, (ii) constructive exploration of fabric, and (iii) pursuit of the intrinsic body created by limited color. The aesthetic characteristics were found as three body forms. The first was recognized as the voluptuous body, which can be created by the reconstruction of the female form. The second was identified as feminine beauty, which can be constructed by the intrinsic body through repeated draping of the garment. The third was classified as restrained beauty, which is an expression of the restrained body created by applying a concise and modern design. Consequently, Azzedine Alaa received attention in the 1980s fashion world and once again after the 2000s based on his continued belief and loyalty to his principles, which can be described as the philosophy of the pursuit of quiddity in a woman s body and the slow aesthetics in the fashion environment, which often commercializes at an unnatural speed.. 12 服飾第68卷 3號 28>은 2013년 F/W 컬렉션 작품으로 블랙 컬러의 니트 케이프와 롱 드레스로 매치된 투피스는 절제 미와 여성미를 표출한다. 특히 케이프와 스커트의 규칙적인 플레어는 볼륨감을 더해주어 여성적이고 유연한 이미지를 드러낸다. 다양한 소재들의 구축적 탐구를 통해 알라이아 는 여체의 자연스러운 볼륨을 더 과감하고 극적으 로 표현하기도 하고, 여성미를 강조해 간결하고 정숙하며 절제된 아름다움을 표현한다. (3) 제한된 컬러가 만들어낸 형태의 본질 추구: 블랙, 화이트, 레드, 베이지 제한된 컬러가 만들어낸 형태의 본질 추구 는 블랙, 화이트, 레드, 베이지 등의 간결한 솔리드 컬러를 사용하여 옷의 형태적 구조미와 곡선미의 극대화를 표출한 것이다. 알라이아는 컬러의 절제 를 통해 옷 본질 탐구에 집중한다. 컬러와 소재 간의 관계성이 만든 구축적인 형태성은 몸과 옷이 가지는 본연의 아름다움에 초점을 맞추고 순수한 라인을 구현했다. <Fig. 29>는 실크와 얇은 시폰 소재를 믹스매치한 1982년 F/W 컬렉션 작품으로 에로티시즘을 가시적으로 부각시킨다. 또한 알라 이아는 스킨 컬러의 시스루 원단과 블랙 시폰의 조합을 통해 관능적 우아미를 표현한다. 1991년 S/S 컬렉션 작품인 <Fig. 30>은 정갈한 화이트 컬 러의 섬세한 플리츠 주름이 돋보이는 드레스로 깊 게 파인 네크라인이 여성미와 우아미를 나타낸다. 작품은 그리스 복식을 모티브로 디자인된 것이다. 반면 2007년 F/W 컬렉션 작품인 <Fig. 31>은 심 플하고 절제된 실루엣의 미니멀 드레스로 블랙 컬 러를 사용하여 간결함과 단호함을 표현한다. 블랙 에 포인트로 사용된 골드 컬러의 지퍼와 스티치 디테일은 알라이아의 간결한 조형미를 대변한다. <Fig. 32>는 2014년 S/S 컬렉션 작품인 니트 소재 의 미니 드레스로 알라이아가 주로 사용하는 블 랙, 레드, 베이지 컬러를 조화롭게 배치하여 한층 젊어진 느낌을 선사한다. 상의의 보디 컨셔스 라 인은 여성성을 부각시키고 하의의 플레어와 펀칭 디테일이 발랄한 소녀의 이미지를 대변하며 이중 적 요소를 하나의 작품에 공존시킨다. 컬러와 디테일을 제한한 디자인은 옷의 본질적 아름다움에 집중한 알라이아 디자인의 특성으로 이는 몸에 충실한 형태성을 극대화 시킨다. 또한 솔리드 컬러의 사용은 깨끗하고 간결한 이미지를 연상시키고 절제된 컬러의 배합은 알라이아 디자 인에 밝고 젊은 감성을 담아낸다. 2) 미적 특성 (1) 관능미: 여체의 재구성이 만들어낸 관능적 몸 아제딘 알라이아 디자인의 첫 번째 미적 특성 <Table 3> Characteristic of Formative of the Works of Azzedine Ala a Characteristic of Formative Realistic silhouette: Body-conscious 1980s 1990s -Design focused on the body -Realistic expression of << the woman s body <Fig. 21> Fall/Winter <Fig. 22> Spring/ -S-silhouette (Palais Summer 1994 Galeria Museum, 2013, p. 119) (Palais Galeria Museum, 2013, p. 28) s 2010s <Fig. 23> Spring/ <Fig. 24> Fall/Winter Summer (Ala a, n.d.-e) (Ala a, n.d.-d)
