2 Open BIM based Construction Document Optimization Standard and Applied Technology Development (Abstract) Open BIM based construction document optimization standard and applied technology are essential elements in the construction of the BIM environment. It is reported that many domestic architecture firms have made a loss of more efficiency and time in creating additional 2D design documents for administrative procedures, such as licensing and etc. Consequently, it has a problem that there is difficulty in both storage and re-use of information of drawings and document information. In accordance with diversification and complexification in construction document for licensing, BIM based document also has decreasing productivity and error occurrence. Solving these problems, Government lead research and development (R&D), in BIM based optimized drawing standards and guidelines and in sample drawing and document-set in BIM standard design documents, is now in progress. As a result, it brings for private enterprise to improve the response capacity for BIM ordered construction. Outcomes that are derived in this study are as follows. Optimized drawing standards and guidelines Sample document-set and template in BIM standard design documents BIM based software for standard design documents extraction and linkage
