Product benefits: one-part formulation low odour excellent stability long open time fast cure time elastic capable of withstanding high dynamic stresses sound-absorbing vibration-damping can be sanded and overpainted resistant to ageing/weathering Temperature [ C] Curing time [mins.] Cure mechanism: Sikaflex -352 HC is normally cured by the application of heat. The rate of cure is temperature-dependent (see diagram). The stated cure temperatures refer to the temperature within the adhesive and at the bond faces. The stated cure times do not take account of the time required to warm the adhesive up to its curing temperature. Suitable heat sources to promote rapid curing include ovens, infrared heaters, hot-air blowers, etc. If such a heat source is not available or in the event of a power failure or malfunction the adhesive will still cure by reaction with atmospheric moisture, but at a slower rate. Areas of application: Sikaflex -352 HC is suitable for structural joints that will be subjected to dynamic stresses. Suitable substrate materials include timber, metals, particularly aluminium (including anodized components), sheet steel (including phosphated, chromated and zinc-plated components), metal primers and paint coatings (two-part systems), ceramic materials, glass and some heat resistant plastics. Note: In the case of plastics the curing temperature of the adhesive should not exceed the temperature resistance(vicat temperature) of the plastic. Prolonged exposure to light can cause slight superficial yellowing of the adhesive. Chemical resistance: Sikaflex -352 HC is resistant to fresh water, seawater, limewater, sewage effluent, dilute acids and caustic solutions; temporarily resistant to fuels, mineral oils, vegetable and animal fats and oils; not resistant to organic acids, alcohol, concentrated mineral acids and caustic solutions or solvents. Sikaflex -360 HC is manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001/14001 quality assurance system. Product benefits: one-part formulation low odour excellent stability long open time fast cure time elastic capable of withstanding high dynamic stresses sound-absorbing vibration-damping can be sanded and overpainted resistant to ageing/weathering Temperature [ C] Curing time [mins.] Cure mechanism: Sikaflex -360 HC is normally cured by the application of heat. The rate of cure is temperature-dependent(see diagram). Areas of application: Sikaflex -360 HC is suitable for structural joints that will be subjected to high dynamic stresses. Suitable substrate materials include timber, sheet steel(bright metal, phosphated, chromated and zinc-plated), metal primers and paint coatings (two-part systems), ceramic materials, glass and plastics. Note: In the case of plastics the curing temperature of the adhesive should not exceed the temperature resistance(vicat temperature) of the plastic. Do not use on plastics that are prone to stress cracking. Chemical resistance: Sikaflex -360 HC is resistant to fresh water, seawater, limewater, sewage effluent, dilute acids and caustic solutions; temporarily resistant to fuels, mineral oils, vegetable and animal fats and oils; not resistant to organic acids, alcohol, concentrated mineral acids and caustic solutions or solvents.
