We believe that Korean students should be able to prepare to serve God by studying His Word in the Korean language. Thus, our classes are in English, and translated into Korean. 우리는한국학생들이한국말로하나님의말씀을공부함으로써하나님을섬길준비가될수있어야한다고믿습니다. 그러므로우리의수업들은영어로진행되며한국말로번역됩니다. We have striven to maintain the highest academic quality, while keeping an emphasis on practical application. 우리는최고의학업의질이유지되면서실제적인적용에계속강조를두도록노력해왔습니다. In our approach, we cover the entire Bible in three distinct ways: Biblically, doctrinally, and historically. Each book of the Bible is studied in detail. All of the major Bible doctrines are developed. Also, the historical aspects of God s Word are taught so as the student can better understand the Bible in context. 우리의접근방법에는

In addition, we study tools needed for the ministry, such as Pastoral Theology, Missions, Homiletics, Hermeneutics, Apologetics, Counseling and Greek language studies. 또한, 우리는사역에필요한수단으로곧목회신학, 선교학, 설교학, 해석학, 변증학, 상담학, 그리고희랍어를공부합니다. We practice and teach personal separation. 5 LETTER FROM THE PRESIDIENT 학교장의인사말 Dear Prospective Student, 사랑하는장래의학생들에게, Let me take the opportunity to tell you how much we appreciate your consideration of VBBC as a possible college choice. We know that there are many other fine colleges to choose from and we are honored that you have taken the time to look at what we have to offer. 승리침례신학교를선택가능성이있는대학으로간주하는여러분의고려에대해우리가얼마나감사하고있는지말씀을드리고자합니다. 선택할수있는많은여러좋은대학들이있다는것을알고있기에여러분이시간을내어우리가제공하는것을보고있음을영광으로생각합니다. This school began with a burden. It began with a vision to see young men and women get the type of Bible training that would equip them for a life of service to the Lord. We have developed our curriculum with three basic principles in mind. First of all, Christ is to have the preeminence in all that is said and done. The faculty and staff of our college desire to show forth Christ by their lives as well as their instruction. Secondly, we have built our courses upon the infallible Word of God. If we are to prepare men and women for the ministry, then the Bible must be the textbook. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. 6 Third, we have undertaken the blessed task of helping our students apply their newfound knowledge to every-day living. We do not simply teach Bible standards; we live them. We understand that every student has a different level of growth, different talents, and a different purpose in God s master plan. Brethren, we are living in the final days of God s supreme plan for mankind. If the world of religion has grown cold and indifferent, then we want to be zealous of the Lord s work. If the world has forsaken and rejected the Lord Jesus Christ, then we want to exalt him among the heathen. If darkness seems to be the rule of the day, then we want to shine as children of light. This is our mission. 7 WHAT WE BELIEVE 교리진술문 1. We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inerrant, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe that God has preserved His Word through the Textus Receptus. 우리는구약성경과신약성경이축자적으로하나님의영감을받은오류없는말씀이기에믿음과삶에있어서최종적인최고권위를가지고있다고믿는다. 우리는하나님께서공인본문을통해서그분의말씀을보존해오셨다고믿는다. 2. We believe in one Triune God, eternally existent in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit coeternal in existence, coidentical in nature, coequal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfection. 우리는세인격 ( 성부, 성자, 성령 ) 으로존재하시는삼위일체한분하나님, 즉존재에있어서함께영존하시고, 본질에있어서동일하시며, 능력과영광에있어서동등하시고동일한속성을지니심과완전하심을믿는다. 3. We believe that God the Father concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He answers prayer, and that He saves from eternal death and Hell all those who come to Him through Jesus Christ. 우리는성부하나님께서친히인간사를긍휼하심으로돌아보심, 기도에응답하심, 그리고영벌 ( 永罰 ) 과지옥으로부터예수그리스도를통해그분께나아오는모든자들을구원하심을믿는다. 4. We believe in the absolute Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth and sinless humanity; His vicarious death through the shedding of His blood for the remission of sin; His bodily resurrection and ascension; His present high priestly ministry in Heaven for believers, and in His physical and pre-millennial second coming. 우리는우리주예수그리스도의절대적신성, 동정녀탄생, 무죄한인성, 죄용서를위해피흘리심을통한대속적죽음, 육신을입고부활하심과승천하심, 신자들을위한하늘나라에서의현재대제사장, 육신을입으신그분의전천년재림을믿는다. 5. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine person; that He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; that He is the agent of the new birth; that He indwells and sanctifies all believers, sealing and thus securing them until the day of redemption; that He endues, guides, teaches, and helps believers; that it is the privilege and duty of all the saved to be filled with the Holy Spirit. 우리는성령님께서한거룩한인격체이심즉그분께서죄에대하여, 의에대하여, 심판에대하여세상을꾸짖으심, 거듭나게하심 (the agent of the new birth), 모든신자들안에내주하셔서성화시키심, 구속의날까지그들을인치셔서안전케하심, 신자들에게은사를주심, 인도하심, 가르치심, 도우심, 그리고성령충만케됨은모든구원받은자들의특권이요, 의무임을믿는다. 6. We believe that God created the heaven and the earth by a direct act and not by any other means; that this act of creation occurred in six literal days, and that He is the sustainer of all creation. 우리는하나님께서천지를다른수단을사용하지않고직접적인행위로창조하셨음을, 이창조행위는문자그대로 6 일동안에일어났으며, 그분께서모든창조물을붙드는분이심을믿는다.

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God; that by reason of his disobedience he fell from this high position; that all human beings born since have received a sinful nature. 우리는인간이하나님의형상으로창조되었음을, 인간의불순종으로말미암아이러한높은위치에서떨어졌으며그이후로모든인간이죄의본성을가지고태어났음을믿는다. 8. We believe that Salvation is wholly by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in virtue of His redemptive work on the cross, and that no other rite, ceremony or work can save a person from his sin. 우리는구원이온전히은혜를인하여주예수그리스도를믿음으로말미암은것이며, 여느다른의례, 의식, 또는행위가아닌십자가위에서의그분의구속사역을통하여사람이죄로부터구원받을수있음을믿는다. 9. We believe that sanctification for the believer is immediate upon acceptance of Christ as Saviour, and progressive, continuing until the end of life; that the progressive phase is carried on in the believer s heart by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the continual use of the appointed means specifically, the Word of God and prayer. 우리는신자의성화가그리스도를구주로영접한직후부터삶을마감하는날까지점진적이고계속적인것임을믿는다. 점직적인국면이라함은지정된수단 ( 특별히하나님의말씀과기도 ) 을지속적으로사용함가운데성령님의임재와능력에의해신자의마음에서이루짐을말한다. 10. We believe that the saved are called to a life of separation from the world unto God, from religious apostasy, and from all sensual pleasures, practices and associations. 우리는구원받은사람이세상으로부터, 종교적배교로부터, 그리고모든관능적쾌락으로부터하나님께분리된삶으로부르심받았음을믿는다. 11. We believe in the existence of angels -- created beings sent forth to minister unto the saints under the direction of the Father. We believe, too, in the existence of Satan as a distinct and real personality who is the adversary of Christ and his Church. 우리는천사 ( 성부하나님의지시아래성도를섬기기위해보내심을받은피조물 ) 가존재함을믿는다. 우리는또한그리스도와그분의교회의대적인분명한실제존재로서사탄이존재함을믿는다. 12. We believe that the Church of Christ is the body and Bride of our Lord; that it is distinct from the nation of Israel; that its mission is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every nation. 우리는그리스도의교회가우리주님의몸이자신부임을, 교회는이스라엘민족과구별됨을, 교회의사명은전세계에가서모든민족에게복음을전파하는것임을믿는다. 13. We believe that Christ committed to the Church the ordinances of baptism and the Lord s Supper; that Christian baptism is by immersion in water, thus setting forth in a symbol the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ; that the Lord s Supper is a commemoration of the Lord s death until He comes; and that, in this ordinance, the Lord s table is only to be observed by regenerated persons living in fellowship and obedience to Jesus Christ. 우리는그리스도께서교회에게침례와주님의만찬이란예식을주셨음을믿는다. 그리스도인의침례는예수그리스도의죽으심, 장사지내심, 그리고부활하심을나타내는상징인물에잠기는방법으로행해진다. 주님의만찬은주님의죽으심을그분의오실때까지기념하는것으로이예식에서주님의만찬상은오직교제권에있는거듭난사람들에의해서예수그리스도께순종함으로행해진다.

We believe in a literal, bodily, personal, pre-millennial, and imminent coming of our Lord in the air to catch away His Church before the tribulation period; also in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Christ to the earth, with His church, at the close of the tribulation period to judge the living nations and to set up His kingdom. 우리는교회휴거를위한문자적이고물리적이며, 직접적이고전천년적인그리고임박한우리주님의공중재림이환란기간이전임을믿는다. 또한환란기간이끝날무렵직접적이고가시적 ( 可視的 ) 이며영광스러운그리스도의이땅재림이성도와함께생존한민족들을심판하고그분의왕국을세우실것을믿는다. 15. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men. The saved will come forth to everlasting life at the return of Christ before the tribulation. The souls of the lost will be in conscious misery in Hell until called forth at the great white throne to be cast into everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. 우리는모든사람들이육신을입고부활함을믿는다. 구원받은자들은그리스도의재림시환란이전에영원한생명으로나아온다. 잃어버린영원들은불못의영원한형벌에던져지도록백보좌심판으로불려나올때까지지옥에서처절함을의식하며거할것이다 16. We believe that every human has the right to a direct relationship with God, and is responsible to Him alone in matters of faith and life; that the local church, through its leadership and members, should exert all possible pastoral and brotherly care to restore brethren in err. 우리는모든사람이하나님과직접적관계를가질권리가있으며믿음과생명의문제에있어서사람이하나님앞에책임이있음을, 지역교회는잘못에빠진형제들을회복시키기위해자 ( 自 ) 교회의지도력과지체들을통해서모든가능한목회적배려와형제우애를발휘해야함을믿는다. 17. We believe that each local church, according to the New Testament, should be independent, autonomous, and not rightly subject to interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; and that, church and state should be kept separate having two distinct functions, each fulfilling its duties free from dictation or patronage of the other. 우리는각각의지역교회가신약성서에따라독립적이고자주적이며어느교회적또는정치적인권위에의한간섭에곧바로복속되지않음을, 교회와국가는두개의구별적기능을가짐으로분리되어야하며서로의지시나후원으로부터벗어나각각의의무들을수행함을믿는다. 10 OUR EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY 우리의교육철학 We have sought to base our entire curriculum on the principles of God s Word. Our courses of study begin with a foundation of knowledge in the Scriptures. Each course is progressive in nature, building upon what has already been taught. This is in accordance with the Biblical principle of line upon line, precept upon precept. 우리는전교육과정을하나님말씀의원리위에기반을둘것을추구해왔습니다. 우리의연구과정은성경지식의토대와함께시작합니다. 각과정이본질적으로이미배운것위에지어나가는점진형입니다. 이것은 행위에행을, 훈계위에훈계를 이라는성경원리를따른것입니다. We believe God created each person with certain characteristics and skills that He will employ as He wills. Our approach is traditional and individualized with the purpose of developing the Christian character in the student through application of the material to every-day life. 우리는하나님께서그분의뜻에따라사용하실특정한자질과기술을가진각사람을창조하셨음을믿습니다. 우리의학습법은전통적이며교재를매일의삶에적용함을통해서학생안에있는그리스도인의인격을개발함을목적으로특성화되었습니다. We believe that one of the most important aspects of Christian education is to maintain a proper balance between doctrine and application. Our objective is to develop well-rounded individuals with more than just knowledge of Scripture. We want to teach them how to apply God s timeless truths to modern life. Since God is a God of absolute truth, then education must be founded upon the precepts of the Bible and not upon relativism or humanism. 우리는기독교교육이사회적, 영적, 그리고사회의학문적인면에서학생들을준비시켜야한다고믿습니다. 이러한이유로학생들의자아절제를장려합니다. 건전한가르침과적용을통해서학생은선과악을분별하도록배웁니다. 성경적으로올바른선택을하도록하는도구들과원리들이학생손에놓여집니다. We believe that Christian education must prepare the student for social, spiritual, and academic aspects of society. For this reason, self-discipline is encouraged in the student body. Through sound teaching and application, the student is taught to discern between good and evil. The tools and principles to make Biblically sound choices are placed in his hands. 우리는하나님께서모든지혜와지식의원천이심을믿습니다. 그러하기에참된교육이라면하나님과의관계안에굳건한뿌리와기반을두어야합니다. 그러므로학습과정은행위에행을훈계위에훈계을이라는성경의원리를바탕으로개발되었습니다. We believe that God is the source of all wisdom and knowledge. As such, any true education must be firmly rooted and grounded in a relationship with him. Therefore the course of study is developed around the principles of scripture line upon line, precept upon precept. 우리는진정한기독교교육이란주예수그리스도를탁월하신분으로, 성경을최종적권위로내세워야하고, 또한믿음이란지적으로이해하는것뿐아니라실제적으로매일의삶에적용되는것임을믿습니다.

11 We believe that a truly Christian education must set forth the Lord Jesus Christ as preeminent, the Scriptures as the final authority, and a faith that is not only intellectually understood, but also practically applied to daily living. We believe that an effective Christian education is based upon the principles expressed in 2 Timothy 2:2, And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 우리는효과적인기독교교육이디모데후서 2 장 2 절에표현된원리들에기조를둔다고믿습니다. 또네가많은증인들가운데서내게들은것, 바로그것들을신실한사람들에게맡기라. 그들이또한다른사람들을가르칠수있으리라.

12 OUR MISSION 우리의사명 V ictory Baptist Bible College was born from a burden to see a Bible-based ministry where God is glorified and saints are equipped for the ministry. It is our goal to offer a fundamental Bible education to our students through which the rising tide of liberalism and apostasy can be challenged and conquered. Our faculty and staff are committed to the training and edification of their students for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ. 빅토리침례신학교는하나님께서영광을받으시고성도들이사역에준비되도록하며성경에기반을둔사역을보기를갈망하는부담으로부터탄생되었습니다. 자유주의와배도의출현풍조에이의를제기하고이길수있음을통해서학생들에게근본성경교육을제공함이우리의목표입니다. 우리교직원들은사역의과업과그리스도의몸을계발하기위해학생들을훈련함과교화함에헌신했습니다. OUR AFFILIATIONS 제휴관계 Victory Baptist Bible College is, by conviction, an extension of the local church. We are not part of any denomination or organization. We are an independent organization under the authority of Haven Baptist Church in Gunsan City, Jigok Dong 488-2, Republic of Korea. 빅토리침례신학교는확실하게지역교회의연장입니다. 우리는어느교파나조직의일부가아닙니다. 우리는대한민국전라북도군산시지곡동 위치한헤이번침례교회권위아래의독립적조직입니다.

13 ADMISSIONS 입학 We accept students of any race, age, or gender. However, students must agree to the college doctrinal statement and code of conduct. Only those who have completed high school or hold an equivalent diploma may be enrolled. 우리는인종이나연령또는성별에관계없이어느학생이든환영합니다. 그러나학생들은반드시학교의교리진술문과품행규범에동의를해야하며고등학교를마친자또는그와동등한졸업장을가진사람만이입학할수있습니다. Persons desiring to enroll should complete the registration form and return it to the college as soon as possible. Registration fees are 100,000 won and are non-refundable. 입학하길원하는사람은등록양식을작성해야하며가능한한빨리학교에제출해야합니다. 등록비는 100,000 원이며환불이안됩니다. Students who desire to transfer credits from a recognized institution must provide written proof (transcript or letter from previous college) of courses completed. No more than 32 credits may be transferred, and students must have at least a C in all transferred classes. 공식적으로인정된기관으로부터이곳으로학점을이전하길원한다면반드시마친과정들에대한문서화된증거물 ( 성적표혹은전대학으로부터의문서 ) 을제출해야합니다. CODE OF CONDUCT 품행규범 One of the major purposes of any Bible college is to prepare its students for possible service in full-time ministerial capacities. For this reason we have outlined some guidelines that are designed to promote integrity, self-discipline and conservative lifestyles. All classes will begin with prayer. 모든수업은기도로시작됩니다.

14 Any dishonesty, (cheating, lying, etc.) will be met with expulsion for the duration of the semester. Tuition will not be refunded. 어느부정직한 ( 부정행위, 거짓말등 ) 행위가있다면학기중제적될것입니다. 수업료는환불되지안습니다.
