10 그래픽의기본을배우는이유 (1/2) 우리는 digital native가아니다. 자라면서배우지못했기때문에필요한사람은찾아서익혀야한다. 모든발표는 PowerPoint를이용해야한다. 논문에들어갈그림이나사진을 Combination halftones, 600 dpi, TIFF without compression, CYMK 와같은알수없는형식의파일로만들어보내야한다.

16 해상도란무엇인가? 해상도 ( 解像度 ) 는어느일정한단위안에서얼마나더자세하게그내용을표현하는가를나타내는용어이다. 일정한물리적길이단위인 1인치 (25.4mm) 안에표현되는화소 (pixel) 의수를말한다. 단위로 dpi(dots per inch) 가쓰인다. 예를들어, 72 dpi 라고하면 1인치안에 72개의점이들어간다는뜻이다.

66 Take home message 모든이미지는필요에따라적절한해상도로만들어져야한다. 이미지를변경시킬경우원본파일을확실하게 back up 해두어야한다. 가능하면그래프는 vector 형식을이용하는것이좋다. 출판용이미지는고해상도가필요하지만 PowerPoint 발표에서는적절한저해상도가좋다.
