The key technology is the regenerative braking in the energy saving technology. And electronic brake has been developed along with the advance of the electronic control technology. The reliability about the braking system is very important because the braking system is concerned with safety of vehicle. But the regulation is not sufficient enough. In this study, to develop the reliability assessment technology FCEV model with regenerative braking system and electronic braking system(ewb, EMB) was developed. The reliability assessment scenarios about regenerative braking system and electronic braking system is developed using ABS brake regulations and FMEA results. This scenarios ware applied to the performance simulation of the FCEV with the regenerative braking and the electronic braking system. And the fail-safe control strategy of a EMB was suggested and verified. 2 1. 서론최근석유자원의고갈과함께환경규제강화로인하여하이브리드전기자동차, 연료전지자동차, 전기자동차등과같은그린카에대한정부와소비자들의관심이높아지고있으며, 이러한수요를충족시키기위해전세계대부분의자동차완성업체들은그린카에대한연구개발을활발히진행하고있다. 이러한그린카에서에너지효율을높이는가장중요한기술중하나로제동시운동에너지를전기에너지로저장하는회생제동기술의중요성이높이평가받고있다. 이와함께전자제어기술의발달로, 브레이크시 스템에서도 EMB(Electro-Mechanical Brake), EWB (Electronic Wedge Brake) 와같은전자식브레이크시스템에대한연구가활발히이루어지고있다. 브레이크시스템은탑승자의안전에직접적인영향을미치는장치로써신뢰성이매우중요하다. 2010년초기 Toyota 자동차사의가속페달과제동장치결함에따른리콜사태는자동차신뢰성의중요도를입증하고있다. 전자브레이크가적용된연료전지자동차를대상으로회생제동및전자브레이크시스템의신뢰성평가기술을개발하고자하였다. 이를위해이전연구에서대상전자브레이크를적용한연료전지차량의해석모델과회생제동및전자브레이크시스템의신뢰성평가시나리오를개발하였다. 1) 본연구에서는. 개발된시나리오를해석모델에적용하여연료전지자동차의회생제동및전자브레이크시스템의고장영향도를평가하고, 전자브레이크시스템의고장발생시차량의안정성확보를위한고장대응알고리즘을제안하였다. 델링은시험값을기본으로하는특성 Map을도출하여사용하였다. Fig. 1은연료전지자동차해석모델의주요시스템을나타낸다. Fig. 1 Main systems of the FCEV model 2.2 EMB, EWB 해석모델 모터액츄에이터및전자제어기술의발달로전자브레이크시스템에대한연구개발이활발히진행되고있다. Siemens VDO에서는 prototype EWB를개발하였으며 2), 국내에서는 C. H. Jo등 3, 4) 과 S. Y. Kim등 5) 이 EMB 및 EWB 시스템의해석모델및제어기모델을개발한바있고, prototype 시스템을개발하여제어기모델을적용평가한바있다. 본연구에서대상차량은구동모터로회생제동을하고기계적제동시스템으로는전륜 EWB 시스템과후륜 EMB 시스템이적용되었다. 후륜 EMB의구조는 Fig. 2와같으며해석모델의지배방정식은식 (1) 에서부터식 (5) 까지와같다. 2. 전자브레이크적용연료전지자동차해석모델개발 2.1 연료전지자동차해석모델연료전지자동차해석모델은각시스템별로연료전지스텍, 배터리시스템, DC/DC 컨버터시스템, 모터시스템등으로구성되었으며, 각시스템의모 Fig. 2 Schematic diagram of a EMB system á (1) ù áà «à â (2)

3 á â â ù (3) Ÿ (4) á Ï Ÿ á Ï (5) EWB는 EMB와달리브레이크패드와같이웻지가평면운동을하는 2차원구조를이루며쐐기에의한제동력강화효과로작은전류로큰제동력을얻을수있다는장점이있어본연구에서는후륜에비하여제동력이크게작용하는전륜에 EWB가적용되었다. 그구조는 Fig. 3과같으며해석모델의지배방정식은식 (6) 에서부터식 (11) 과같다. 모터구동부의지배방정식은 EMB와동일하다. 해석모델구성도이다. 차량해석모델에서각휠의제동력을산출하여 EMB, EWB 모델에요구제동력을인가하고 EMB, EWB 해석모델에서계산된제동력을차량동역학모델에전달해주는구조로통합해석모델을개발하였다. 연료전지자동차의각시스템과 EMB, EWB 시스템및제어기모델은 MATLAB/Simulink를통해개발되었으며, SUV급대상차량의동적해석모델은 CarSim을통해개발되었다. 4 3. 고장영향도평가및고장대응알고리즘개발 Fig. 6 Comparison of vehicle deceleration 3.1 신뢰성평가시나리오개발기존연구에서회생제동및 EWB, EMB 시스템에대한 FMEA를통하여개발된고장시나리오와국내외의 ABS 제동성능시험평가규격을활용하여개발된주행시나리오를조합해신뢰성평가시나리오를개발하였다. 개발된고장시나리오중의일부를 Table 1에요약하여나타내었다. 1) 또한해석모델에 ABS 제어알고리즘을탑재하여실차 ABS 시험과비교검증을수행하였다. ABS 제어알고리즘은상위제어기에서 EWB 및 EMB 제어시스템에인가된제동력명령을타이어와노면의슬립발생시 On/Off 제어하는방식으로개발되었다. Fig. 7은차량의속도를 ABS 실차시험과해석결과를비교한그래프이며, Fig. 8은차량의감속도를비교한그래프이다. Fig. 8은후륜좌측휠 EMB의전류센서고장발

5 생시와안정성을향상시키기위한고장대응알고리즘에대한그림이다. 만약제동중후륜좌측휠의 EMB 고장으로제동력을잃게되면후륜우측휠과의제동력차이로인하여차량의요모멘트 (yaw moment) 가발생하게되어차량의안정성이크게악화될수있다. 이를방지하기위하여 Fig. 8의우측그림과같이고장감지이후전륜의제동력을증가시켜제동거리를보상하고, 전류센서고장이발생한휠의제동력을추종하도록고장나지않은반대측휠의 EMB 제동력을제어하여차량의안정성을 향상시키는고장대응알고리즘을제안하였다. Fig. 9 Comparison of the vehicle speeds Fig. 8 Fail-safe control strategy Fig. 9는주행시나리오중 A2 Code에해당되는 80kph에서 Full 제동조건에서정상시 (Normal), 후륜좌측 EMB 전류센서고장시 (Failure), 고장대응알고리즘적용시 (Maneuver) 의차량의속도를각각비교한그래프이다. Fig. 10은후륜좌측휠의정상시 (Normal) 와 EMB 전류센서고장시 (Failure) 의제동토크를비교한그래프이다. 전류센서고장으로인하여정상적인제어가이루어지지않아제동력이정상시에비해감소되었다. Fig. 11은후륜우측휠의정상시 (Normal) 와고장발생시고장대응알고리즘에따라제어되는제동토크 (Maneuver) 를비교한그래프이다. Fig. 12는차량의요각속도 (yaw rate) 를비교한그래프로서고장대응알고리즘이적용된경우, 적용되지않은경우에비해요각속도 (yaw rate) 가 1/3로감소함을알수있다. 6 후기 본연구는지식경제부에서시행한산업원천기술개발사업에의해지원되었습니다. References Fig. 12 Comparison of the vehicle yaw rates 6. 결론 EMB, EWB가적용된연료전지차량의신뢰성평가를하기위하여이전연구에서는대상해석모델과신뢰성평가시나리오를개발하였다. 본연구에서는신뢰성평가시나리오중 80kph 주행중 Full 제동상황에서후륜한휠의 EMB 전류센서고장발생시차량의안정성을확보하기위한고장대응알고리즘을개발하고, 그타당성을해석을통해검증하였다. 한쪽휠의 EMB 고장발생시제동거리가늘어나고, 차량의횡방향안정성문제가발생한다. 이때제안된고장대응알고리즘을적용할경우차량의안정성을향상시킬수있다는것을해석을통해확인하였다. 추후개발된해석모델을이용하여다양한신뢰성평가시나리오의적합성평가와이에대한고장대응알고리즘에대한연구를진행할예정이다. 1) K.
