2008 Sports Meet of Guangdong /Hong Kong/Macao Correctional Officers The Sports Meet will take place in Hong Kong from 2 to 5 March 2008. There will be seven sports events viz. Badminton; Basketball; Shooting; Soccer; Ten-pin Bowling; Tennis and Track. I would like to invite you as our Honorable Guest and your officers to take part in the Sports Meet as a guest team. The Sports Meet which started in 2001 is a biennial sports event amongst the correctional officers in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The Prison Management Bureau, Guangdong Province, Macao Prison and Hong Kong Correctional Services Department host the event by rotation. Hong Kong is the host of the 2008 Sports Meet. Singapore Prison Service joined the Sports Meet in 2001 and 2006 as a guest team. Grateful if you would let me know by 26 November 2007 whether you and your officers could come and participate in the Sports Meet.
