K.C AP APRON CONVEYOR Apron Conveyors are used for conveying various bulk materials. They are particulary suitable for conveying hot materials such as clinker. K.C Apron Conveyors are available in the three standard series detailed next.
S series This series of Apron Conveyor utillzes conveyor chain with outboard rollers. These rollers have bearings inside to help reduce frictional resistance. This series is suitable for medium or long distance conveying, and enables reduced motor power consumption and compact conveyor designs. The inclination of the path is up to 45. The overlapping part of the apron has been especially designed to prevent spillage. B series This series employs the same type of conveyor chain as the S series except for the attachment. The shape of the apron is different and is suitable for more powdery materials and steeper slopes. The range of inclination is up to 60. K.C AP APRON FEEDER Principal Feature Diversified Applications The apron feeder is typically installed at the bottom of hoppers and bins to take out the required capacity of bulk material at a constant rate. It is suitable for conveying heavy, lumpy or abrasive materials such as coal, limestone, iron ores etc., and particularly indispensable for handling materials containing large, heavy or sharp lumps. Durable Constructions The apron feeder consists of an endless apron of overlapping pans mounted on two strands of durable steel bushed roller chains operating on rails or rollers, head and tail sections and suitable intermediate supports. Optimum Mechanism The apron feeder is apt to be subject to the following extraordinary forces. Shock load caused by lumpy material falling some distance. Pressure of material accumulated in hoppers and bins. Shearing force between accumulation layer and flow layer caused by the flow amount control. The optimum mechanism devised on the basis of our rich experience and contimuous study can completely settle the above-mentioned problems. Economical The appropriate design preventing action of unreasonable force does not require an extremely robust structure and idle motor power, hence making the K.C APRON FEEDER most economical.
