6 Athletics News This week kicked off with High School Volleyball action at TIS. The boys continued their winning streak with a 3-0 win (25-14, 25-14, 25-19) over the Eagles. The girls were less fortunate with a 3-0 loss, though the score does not reflect how close the match was, with two of three sets split by two point (25-20, 26-24, 28-26). The teams will continue to train this week and have been putting extra time in on the weekend in preparation for their upcoming ISAC and ACAMIS tournaments. Our MS Badminton team is very excited to travel to Beijing to compete in ISAC this weekend. Our student-athletes have been hard at work developing their skills, tactical play and endurance, as well as building team spirit and leadership. Good luck to all students competing in ISAC this weekend, we look forward to celebrating your success next week! MS Football had a week of practice and will continue game play with matches against TIS next week, followed by their ISAC tournament on October 20th in Beijing. A reminder that no practices will run on October 17th & 18th due to Parent Teacher Conferences. ISCOT Football - reminder to CCA grades 1-5 football students to please return permission slips by Monday, October 15th. ISAC U11 Girls and Boys Football - reminder to CCA grades 4-5 football students to please return permission slips by Monday, October 15th. Our Cross Country team showcased exceptional endurance and physical/mental strength at the annual ISCOT Cross Country Race on Wednesday.

IST students delivered an outstanding performance, with IST winning three of the four races for our age groups.

Thank you to our IST staff volunteers and to our parents who provided additional energy and enthusiasm.

We will be cheering loud and proud from Tianjin, Go Dragons!

Over 50 students in grades 1-6 from IST, TEDA and Wellington competed across three events in their quest for gold. IST students delivered an outstanding performance, with IST winning three of the four races for our age groups. Congratulations to all of our IST competitors and their Coach, Ms. Herewini, for a great event. Thank you to our IST staff volunteers and to our parents who provided additional energy and enthusiasm.
