31 말기법학의연명장치마련을위한제언 / 이경렬 89 [Abstract] Revitalization proposal for law education in crisis 63)Lee, Kyung-Lyul * The Law School was introduced and implemented in 2009 to improve the problems of the former judicial examination system, which referred to as 'Shilin - dong Examination Law'. However, ten years after the introduction of law school, lawyers are still being selected with the examination passing rate that is dropping every year. In addition, despite its name, law school is centered on the lawyer examination. Thus, the training of succeeding generation of the scholarship in graduate school of law and the education of the law theory are pushed back. Under these circumstances, the academic field of law will perish. The rumors of legal education due to the lack of legal scholars will lead to a lack of legal knowledge and common sense across the government and society. This will come down as regression of the rule of law. Therefore, the following suggestions are made in order to solve overall problems. 1First of all, I suggest 'revival of undergraduate law' as a countermeasure. However, it seems that the actual legal system and the legal education system will not easily accept it. 2Given the legal system and the reality of the situation, the second suggestion is that the law school admissions strengthen the number of undergraduate law course credits as an assessment factor. It is not a violation of the law as long as admissions do not require the entry of grades acquired at the time of judging the knowledge of the law, which requires the students to submit the credits and subject names of the legal subjects taken during their undergraduate years. Therefore, similar to the '35 credits of the Law of Thought of the Department of Law' at the time of the former judicial examination, the completion of the basic legal subjects in the undergraduate school can be regarded as one of the entrance examination data. * Professor, Law School of SungKyungKwan University, Ph. 32 90 법학논고제 66 집 ( ) If the proposal 2 is considered as expedient or evasion of law, it can be dismissed. 3If so, reformation of lawyer examination can be considered. If the attorney test format is closely related to the extent to which the content of the law school is influenced by the law, this correlation should be used to change its content through the change of its form. In other words, whether it is a lawyer examination or a mock exam, the qualification test urges the change of the case-type problem so that the ability to find and apply the case law in the facts of the presented case can be evaluated. In addition, I suggest degrees such as Ph.D or SJD in law should be additionaly required in addition to the practical experience in high-ranking practical law such as the Constitutional Court judge and the Supreme Court Justice. This highly self-considered prescription will attract leading eminent legal students who have graduated from the field in academic jurisprudence. One concrete measure is the necessity of SJD process or the recognition of Ph.D. in appointment of judges in connection with unification of the law. The other is the introduction of legal professors training system. If the former plan is an incentive, the latter plan can be a job hunting policy. However, if the latter is used as a method of strengthening the credits of undergraduate law as an evaluation factor for the law school admissions, which is effective even in the case of the above-mentioned departments of the Faculty of Law, it will be enough to train lawyers.
