2 ceo Miny Kim Chief Director Kyung Min Kim (MINY) is the owner of Miny Designworks. He concentrates in addressing design and business challenges with the firm s long-term clients. After studying industrial and transportation design, MINY worked for Hyundai Heavy Industries and GM Europe Design Center (Frankfurt, Germany) for his creative design experiences. MINY has broad design and managing experiences both in Korea and abroad. MINY has built a deep experience working with clients and suppliers during his career, and he has established Miny Designworks. With his strong multiple skills, MINY contributes creative direction and design strategy to projects as diverse as futuristic transportation, over new media space design, and kinetic art.

3 intro Collective for Creative Inquiries Miny Designworks is a Seoul based collective of designers, builders, technicians and thinkers operating within the fields of new media spaces, landmark installations, research and development. The office is currently involved in a large number of projects throughout Asia, Middle East, Europe, and North America. Miny Designworks design emerges out of a careful analysis of how contemporary life constantly evolves and changes. The multi cultural exchange, global economical flows and communication technologies all together require new ways of design outcomes. We believe that in order to deal with today s challenges, design can profitably move into a field that has been largely unexploded. In all our projects we fully make use of today s advanced technology to add value in our innovative outcomes. We explore new form of art & design to better fit contemporary life forms.

By combining lighting, media, information technology, and art we create communication in a new art form space. Miny Designworks has created and installed new form of medium and contents merged with sculpture or media and architecture in number of important sites in Korea and abroad. It is world best media art design company both in name and reality. Senseware Product Looking at the products resulting lack of emotional senses caused by the manufacturing process and too many functions caused by the development of technology, we saw so many products not interacting with the customers. This is the time when Miny Designworks started to make a change and propose concepts for new product and user interface. With this change, Miny Designworks is making a new paradigm in product design. This includes intuitive design and control system and technology.
