2 Invitation 안녕하십니까? 2011 년신묘년새해를맞아회원여러분의가정과병원에건강과행운이가득하시길기원합니다. 대한당뇨병학회에서는 2011 년 5 월 12 일부터 14 일까지광주김대중컨벤션센터에서제 24 차대한당뇨병 학회춘계학술대회를개최하고자합니다. 이번학술대회에서는당뇨병의연구와진료를위해애쓰시는모든회원들과유관단체및의료관련정책입안자등이모두함께하여당뇨병및관련분야의발전에기여하고자, 2개의 Plenary Lecture와다양한주제의심포지엄, Young Investigator Award 초청강연, 포스터발표및보험법제공청회로구성하였습니다. 기조강연에는연세의대이현철교수와 Universite Pierre et Marie Curie-Paris 6 의 Fabienne Foufelle 교수가맡으셨으며, 16세션으로구성되어있는심포지엄에서는 Insulin secretion & Biology, Insulin action & Obesity, Clinical & Therapeutics, Epidemiology & Genetics, Acute & Chronic complication, Behavioral medicine & Education 에관한주제를중심으로준비하였고, Diabetes & Cancer에대한 Debate Session과, Environmental hormone과당뇨병에대한 Challenging issue 세션을마련하여국내외우수한연구자들이발표할예정입니다. 또한포스터발표시간에는포스터전시장에서전시물을보면서발표자의발표를직접듣고현장에서토의하는시간을가질예정입니다. 이번춘계학술대회는다양한역사적흔적과문화자산을가지고있는아름다운도시광주에서개최하게 되어지방회원과친밀한교류를할수있어더활기차고알찬학술대회가될것입니다. 또한이귀중 한자리가여러회원분들께유익한교류와친목을도모할수있는축제의장이되기를기대합니다. 회원여러분의적극적인참여를부탁드립니다. 감사합니다. 대한당뇨병학회회장김진우 이사장박성우
