The antenna uses a ground plane in order to radiate efficiently, but this ground plane must not extend underneath the antenna itself. 6 Rufa 2.4 GHz SMD ntenna / Electrical interface 10-1 Transmission lines ll transmission lines should be designed to have a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω The length of the transmission lines should be kept to a minimum ny other parts of the RF system like transceivers, power amplifiers, etc, should also be designed to have an impedance of 50 Ω Once the material for the PCB has been chosen (PCB thickness and dielectric constant), a coplanar transmission line can easily be designed using any of the commercial software packages for transmission line design. For the chosen PCB thickness, copper thickness and substrate dielectric constant, the program will calculate the appropriate transmission line width and gaps on either side of the track so the characteristic impedance of the coplanar transmission line is 50 Ω Matching circuit The antenna requires a matching circuit that must be optimized for each customer s product. The reflow profile should be adjusted to suit the device, oven and solder paste, while observing the following conditions: - The maximum temperature should not exceed 240 ºC - However for lead free soldering, a maximum temperature of 255 ºC for no more than 20 seconds is permitted. - The antenna should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 120 ºC more than 3 times during the soldering process. 12 Hazardous material regulation conformance The antenna has been tested to conform to RoHS requirements. certificate of conformance is available from ntenova s website. Note: Storage of open reels of antennas is not recommended due to possible oxidization of pads on antennas. If short term storage is necessary, then it is highly recommended that the bag containing the antenna reel is re-sealed and stored in like storage conditions as in above table. 27 5. 품질사항 5.1 시험요구사항 시험환경조건 : 전기, 기구적및환경시험은표준상태를기준으로전처리를한후시험한다. 표준상태란온도 15 ~ 25 C 와상대습도 25 ~ 80%, 기압 86 ~ 106KPa 를의미하며, 전처리의목적은시험전이력의영향을제거하거나또는부분적으로중화하거나하는목적으로시험품을처리한다. 이것은시험방법의최초의과정을의미하며, 시험품의특성을측정및시험전에안정상태로하기위함을목적으로한다. ( 표준상태기준 : 20 C, 대기압 ) - 기구적시험은전처리과정을 1시간으로한다. - 환경시험후기구적시험은전처리과정을 2 시간으로한다. - 단, 전처리과정진행후시험전이력이있을시전처리과정을연장한다.

30 5.1.3 열충격안테나를시험기에놓은후온도를다음과같이순환시킨다. 온도를 5분동안 -40 로감소시키고 45분동안 -40 로유지시키고, 5분동안 +85 로증가시킨다음 45분동안 +85 로유지시킨다. 이과정을 27회반복하고 +25 에서끝낸다. 1시간동안 +25 를유지후, 안테나를꺼내어 VSWR을측정한다. 외관상결함이발생해서는안되고, 시험후측정하는동안전기적요구사항을만족해야한다.

31 5.1.4 고온고습안테나를시험기에놓은후온도 / 습도를 2시간동안 +60 /95% 로증가시키고, 48시간동안유지시키고,1시간동안 +25 /0% 로감소시키고,1시간동안 +25 /0% 를유지후, 안테나를꺼내어 VSWR을측정한다. 외관상결함이발생해서는안되고, 측정하는동안전기적요구사항을만족해야한다 고온저장안테나를시험기에놓은후온도를 2시간동안 +85 로증가시키고, 48시간동안 +85 로유지시킨다음 2시간동안 25 로감소시키고, 1시간동안 25 를유지후, 안테나를꺼내어 VSWR을측정한다. 외관상결함이발생해서는안되고, 시험후측정하는동안전기적요구사항을만족해야한다.

32 5.1.6 저온저장안테나를시험기에놓은후온도를 2 시간동안 -40 로감소시키고, 48 시간동안 -40 로 유지시킨다음 2 시간동안 25 로증가시키고, 1 시간동안 25 를유지후, 안테나를꺼내어 VSWR 을측정한다. 외관상결함이발생해서는안되고, 시험후측정하는동안전기적요구사항을만족해야한다 염수분무안테나를 35 에서 Sodium 5% 수용액으로포화된대기에 48시간동안방치한다. Test 종료후부품의부식, 녹발생, 접촉저항점의증가및벗겨짐, 변형이없으며특성에이상이없을것.
