A Study of GIS Service of Weather Information* Chung-Weon Oh**,..,., Web 2.0 GIS.,.,, Web 2.0 GIS, Abstract : Due to social and economic value of Weather Information such as urban flooding, demand of Weather Information Service is increasing. This study explores GIS service modeling strategy for urban weather information using Web 2.0 environment. Firstly, weather information service should be considered at the base of large scale LBS for urban weather. Secondly, Web 2.0 GIS Portal deployment strategy is presented for convergence of weather information service. Thirdly, weather information service should be designed in terms of user-centered design.
