If it is in the pool of copy for private purpose exception under the Copyright Act, this technology may apply to such individual s recording activity. We can express it through cloud computing process. Cloud computing has emerged as one of the most noteworthy issues in the field of IT industry. Since cloud computing enhances convenience, security and efficiency in processing and storing information, it is likely to be utilized more frequently with time. As to whether business operator who provides customers with tools, place, opportunities or system necessary for infringing activity is liable for copyright infringement, it seems that Korean court applies indirect infringement liability theory consisting of contributory infringement liability and vicarious infringement liability etc. However, this article suggests that individual user who specifically intends and instructs recording and transmitting of TV program should be viewed as copy for private purpose, and service provide may merely be operatable for the user s copyright using activity depending on objective of service - cloud computing. structure of system and degree of involvement with the user s activity can interpret private purpose s use theory under cloud computing processing In addition, it would be advisable that legislation
