WHITE WINES A Portela, Beade Primacía, Treixadura, Ribeiro, Spain Made in Galicia in northwest Spain using the local Treixadura grape variety. Light, dry and unoaked, with luscious flavours of ripe peach and citrus. A bright, juicy, balanced wine. Perfect with fish, seafood, salad and soft cheeses. Tawse, Chardonnay, Niagara Peninsula, Canada Tawse is one of Niagara Peninsula s flagship wineries and a pioneer in biodynamic viticulture. A classic, elegant Chardonnay with hints of apple and pear and toasted notes from aging in oak barrels. Ideal for fish, seafood, pasta, chicken and creamy sauces and cheeses. RED WINES Prunotto, Fiulot, Barbera d Asti, Italy Barbera is the most widely grown red grape in Piedmont. Here, it produces a dry, medium-bodied wine with light tannins. Notes of red fruit and a succulent, bright character. Perfect with chicken, pork, pasta with tomato or meat sauce, risotto and hard cheeses. Fabre Montmayou, Reserva Cabernet Franc, Mendoza, Argentina Argentina makes more than just Malbec! This is an excellent Cabernet Franc produced by Bordeaux native Hervé Fabre. A medium-bodied wine featuring firm tannins and notes of red and black fruit, cedar, tobacco and oak. It has all the fruit of the New World with a Bordeaux-like restraint. Pairs well with red meat, pasta, chicken and hard cheeses. Cosse et Maisonneuve, Cahors Le Combal, France Located in southwest France, Cahors is the birthplace of Malbec. Darkly coloured, dry and full bodied, with notes of black fruit, liquorice and spice and firm tannins. A very flavourful wine made by one of the appellation s top wineries. Perfect with red meat, duck and hard cheeses. PORT Dow s Port, Portugal This Port has a red plum jam aroma with a silky smooth texture.
