Is there likely to be enough quality assets with a controlling stake for sale in Korea or is this hype? Has the influence of foreign funds dwindled in recent years at the local funds continue to win the bulk of deals? Although private sector funding is a pre-requisite for many infrastructure and real estate projects, these investments are often high risk, laden with lengthy regulatory requirements and project completion plans that don't naturally align with the typical private equity model.
