Materials Engineering, Paichai University, Daejen-City , Krea "CTUSBDU The effect f glass frit n the sintering behavir and mechanical prperties f 3 ml% Y O 3 -dped zircnia(3y-zro ) have been studied. Up t 30 wt% f glass frit was added t 3Y-ZrO. Sintering was perfrmed in a bx furnace up t 1300 C fr specimens with glass frit and 1600 C fr specimens withut glass frit in air fr 1h. Relative density and mechanical prperties were measured t investigate the effect f glass frit. The additin f glass frit enhanced bth sintered density and mechanical prperties f 3Y-ZrO which is suitable fr dental applicatins. Maximum sintered density 93.3% f theretical density was btained with the specimens cntaining 30 wt% frit sintered at 1300 C, whereas the ptimum amunt f frit additin fr mechanical prperties was determined as 10 wt%.
