1 Journal of the Korea Academia-Industrial cooperation Society Vol. 20, No. 3 pp , ISSN / eissn 김영훈, 진창성, 김재혁 * 원광대학교전기공학과 A Research on the Design of Slotless BLDC Motor for Concrete Vibrator Young-Hun Kim, Chang-Sung Jin, Jae-Hyuck Kim * Department of Electrical Engineering, Wonkwang University 요약본논문에서는콘크리트바이브레이터에 Slotless BLDC (Brush Less Direct Current) 모터를적용하기위해 BLDC 모터의토크및역기전력식을기반으로하여설계를한다. 모터의길이와직경의사이즈가주어져있으므로중요한파라미터는공극자속밀도이다. 자기회로의간략화를통하여공극자속밀도를계산하였으며, 토크, 역기전력및공극자속밀도식을기반으로기초설계를진행하여모터의형상을결정하였다. 이후모터의고정자의외경및내경, 스택길이, 속도를고정값으로설정한후모터의직경및두께를변수로지정하여유한요소법을이용한시뮬레이션을통해상세설계를진행하였으며, THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) 값이작으면서목표토크값이상의형상을설계및시뮬레이션을진행하였다. Abstract In this paper, the design of BLDC (brushless direct current) motors based on torque and back-emf equations was carried out to assess the application of the motor in concrete vibrators. The air gap flux density of the motor is an important parameter because the length of the motor and the size of the diameter are given. The air gap magnetic flux density was calculated through a simplified magnetic circuit, and basic design of the shape and dimensions of the motor were then determined by carrying out experiments based on torque, back-emf, and air magnetic flux density equations. After setting the outer and inner diameters, stack lengths, and rated speed of the motor, a detailed design was performed by simulations using the finite element method by designating the diameter and thickness of the motor as the key parameters. The final design to satisfy the target torque and the lowest THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) was carried out along with a simulation. Keywords : Slotless BLDC, Concrete Vibrator, THD, Torque, Back-EMF 1. 서론콘크리트바이브레이터란콘크리트타설후내부의기포를제거하는작업즉다짐작업에이용되는산업장비이다. 다짐작업이제대로안되어콘크리트내부의기포 가있는상태로굳게되면균열의원인이된다. 그러므로콘크리트다짐작업은 10,000rpm 이상의고주파바이브레이팅을필요로한다. Slotted BLDC 모터는고효율, 우수한성능및높은출력밀도의장점이있으며 [1~2], 항공, 가전기기, 정보통신기기, 견인용차량, 전기자전거, 본연구는 2018학년도원광대학교의교비지원에의해수행됨. * Corresponding Author : Jae-Hyuck Kim(Wonkwang Univ.) 2 한국산학기술학회논문지제 20 권제 3 호, 2019 전동스쿠터 [3] 등다양한분야에서활발한연구개발및활용되고있으며 [3], 제어알고리즘및제어기의성능향상을위한개발도다양하게이루어지고있다 [4]. Slotted BLDC 모터는슬롯이있는구조이며, 슬롯구조로인하여코깅토크가발생하게된다. 이로인해토크리플, 소음및진동이발생하게된다. Slotless BLDC 모터는슬롯이없는구조로써고정자의모형이원형이다. 치구조가없기때문에자기포화가발생하지않고코깅토크가거의없으므로소음및진동이현저하게적다 [5~7]. Slotted BLDC 모터와동일한크기라고가정했을때, 영구자석의크기를더크게가져갈수있으므로출력밀도가높으며소형화에유리하다. 따라서본논문에서는사이즈의제한치가작으므로소형에유리한 Slotless BLDC 모터의설계및시뮬레이션을진행하고자한다. (2) 여기서, 는역기전력, 은한상의직렬턴수, 는공극자속밀도, 는공극의직경, 는적층길이, 은기계각속도, 는토크, 그리고 는한상의전류를나타낸다. Fig. 1. 과 Fig. 2. 는각각슬롯이없는 BLDC의형상과고정자의권선배치도를나타내고있다. Fig. 3. 은자기회로를나타내고있으며, 이회로는 Fig. 4. (a) 로나타낼수있다. (c) 와같이나타낼수있다. 2. 본론 2.1 모터설계목표사양설계하고자하는 Slotless BLDC 모터의목표사양을 Table 1에나타내엇다. Table 1. Specification of motor design target div. Shape of Slotless BLDC motor 2.2 기초설계식 (1) 과 (2) 는각각 BLDC 모터의역기전력과토크를나타내고있다. 이두개의식을기반으로 Slotless BLDC 모터를설계하는데모터의사이즈는제한치사양으로주어져있으므로가장중요한파라미터로는공극자속밀도이며본절에서는공극자속밀도를구하는식을유도하였다. Fig. 2. Magnetic circuit of slotless BLDC motor 여기서,,, 는각각코일당쇄교하는자속, 영구자석에서의자속, 공극자속을나타내고있고,, 는각각영구자석의두께, 공극의길이를나타내며,, 는각각자속이나오는영구자석의면적, 공극의면적을나타낸다. 또한 은비투자율을나타낸다. 공극의면적 는고정자의면적과영구자석의면적의평균을취하여식 (6) 과같이나타낼수있다. 최종적으로구하려고하는공극의자속밀도 는식 (5) 의공극에서의자속을공극의면적식 (6) 으로나눗셈계산을하게되면식 (7) 과같이나타낼수있다. (d) 를이용하여식 (3) 과같이공극자속의식을구할수있으며, 앞에서회로를간략화하는과정에서누설자속 을무시하였었는데, 누설계수 로보상해줌으로써공극자속을다음식 (5) 와같이구할수있다. Detailed design result slotless BLDC motor shape 2.3 상세설계 Slotless BLDC 모터의샤프트의직경, 고정자의외경및내경, 회전속도, 스택길이, 코일턴수를고정값으로설정하였으며, 영구자석의내각과두께를변수로지정하여시뮬레이션을진행하였다. 영구자석의내각을 40~45, 1 단위영구자석의두께를 2~5 mm, 1 mm 단위로시뮬레이션을진행한결과역기전력의 THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) 값이작고토크값이 N m 인영구자석의내각 44, 영구자석의두께 4mm를선정하였다. 시뮬레이션결과는 Table 2 에나타내었다. 선정된 Slotless BLDC모터의형상은 Fig. 8. 에나타냈으며, 그에따르는역기전력및토크의결과는각각 Fig. 9. 와 Fig. 10. 에나타내었다. 5 3. 결론본논문에서는콘크리트바이브레이터용 Slotless BLDC 모터의기초형상설계및영구자석의두께및내각에따른해석내용을다루었다. 콘크리트바이브레이터모터의크기제한을고려하여직경및외경고정값들을반영하였으며, 변수로설정된영구자석의두께및내각에따라유한요소법을이용한해석을진행하여변수의변화에따른 THD, 토크값의경향을알수있었으며, 콘크리트바이브레이터의모터로부합하는결과를도출할수있었다.
