What are Displays?
Definition of Display. 표시장치라고도한다. 디스플레이장치는표시내용에서 1 숫자나영어 한글과같은문자를표시할수있는문자표시, 2 한자 ( 漢字 ) 를표시할수있는한자표시, 3 컴퓨터의처리결과를도형으로표시할수있는도형표시의세가지로크게나눌수있으며, 화상이나패턴으로표시할수도있다. 문자발생방법은, 영어 숫자나한글과같이자형 ( 字形 ) 이간단한문자의발생방법과한자와같이자형이복잡한문자의발생방법과는그발생방법이다소다르지만, 기본적으로는도트방식 스트로크방식 모노스코프방식으로나뉜다. 종류로는 CRT디스플레이장치, 기억형표시, 플라스마표시및액정 ( 液晶 ), EL(electroluminescence), 발광 ( 發光 ) 다이오드, ECD(electro chromic display) 등이있다.

물체의높이와넓이뿐만아니라거리와깊이와위치를인지하는입체시야 (Sereoscopic Vision) 는대부분두안구의동공이 6-7 cm떨어져있기때문. 즉, 오른쪽눈과왼쪽눈에맺히는영상은약간다르며, 이들두영상은어느정도서로겹쳐지게되고대뇌의시각피질에의해해석되며그결과는 3 차원으로한개의대상물로인지하게됨.
양눈의좌측시야에있는물체는망막의우측에맺힌후신경을따라우측대뇌피질로전달. 반대로양눈의우측시야에있는물체는대뇌피질의좌측부위에전달. 이때시각신경이교차하는부위를 optic chlasma 라함.
우리몸의감각수용체중의 70% 는눈에위치하고있으며, 우리는무려 1 천만개의색을볼수있음. 그럼에도불구하고우리가볼수있는가시광선은전체전자기파중에서 70 분의 1 에지나지않음. - 안구의직경 : 2.5cm(1 inch) - 안구의무게 : 7g(1/4 ounce) - 각망막의수용체의수 : 1 억 6 천만개 - 막대세포 : 1 억 5 천만개 - 원뿔세포 : 1 천만개 - 가시광선의파장 : 380-750 nm - 어두운곳에서가장잘보이는파장 : 500 nm
