약 1:19-27 James 1:19-27 26 누가스스로경건하다고생각하면서도, 혀를다스리지않고자기마음을속이면, 이사람의신앙은헛된것입니다. 26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.

무용지물 ( 無用之物 ) 쓸모없는물건이나사람
I. 우리는경건에이르는삶의 태도를가져야합니다 (19-20 절 ).

버리라 apothemenoi 옷을벗어버리다
약 1:21 그러므로더러움과넘치는악을모두버리고, 온유한마음으로여러분속에심어주신말씀을받아들여야합니다. 그말씀에는여러분의영혼을구원할능력이있습니다. Jms 1:21 Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

약 1:23 말씀을듣고도행하지않는사람은있는그대로의자기얼굴을거울속으로들여다보기만하는사람과같습니다. Jms 1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.
약 1:24 이런사람은자기의모습을 보고떠나가서그것이어떠한지를곧 잊어버리는사람입니다. Jms 1:24 For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.
약 1:25 그러나완전한율법곧자유를주는율법을잘살피고끊임없이그대로사는사람은, 율법을듣고서잊어버리는사람이아니라, 그것을실행하는사람인것입니다. 이런사람은그가행한일에복을받을것입니다. Jms 1:25 But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
시 1:2 오로지주님의율법을즐거워 하며, 밤낮으로율법을묵상하는사 람이다. Ps 1:2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
고전 9:21 율법이없이사는사람들에게는, 내가하나님의율법이없이사는사람이아니라그리스도의율법안에서사는사람이지만, 율법없이사는사람들을얻으려고율법없이사는사람같이되었습니다. 1Co 9:21 To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.
III. 우리는경건의삶의열매 를맺어야합니다 (17-18 절 ).
약 1:26 누가스스로경건하다고생각하면서도, 혀를다스리지않고자기마음을속이면, 이사람의신앙은헛된것입니다. Jms 1:26 If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.

마 12:34 독사의자식들아! 너희가악한데, 어떻게선한것을말할수있겠느냐? 마음에가득찬것을입으로말하는법이다. Mt 12:34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
마 12:35 선한사람은선한것을쌓아두었다가선한것을내고, 악한사람은악한것을쌓아두었다가악한것을낸다. Mt 12:35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil.
엡 4:29 나쁜말은입밖에내지말 고, Eph 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths,
