25 This paper examines the indonesian firm's Corporate social responsibility (Hereafter we called CSR) focusing on Korean firms. Indonesia conduct law which is related to obligation of CSR for indonesian corporate firms. So this paper examines why Korean firms go to indonesia and if Korean firms are good at CSR activity in indonesia then we want to find the specific case study to find the successful story for the Korean firms. Indonesia is the good place to research about CSR activity because indonesia is the first country to adopt CSR obligation law so this can be the good research setting. This paper choose CJ and Samsung electronics for their successful case story in Indonesia. In Indonesia, CJ and Samsung electronics conduct Corporate Shared value(hereafter we called CSV) strategy which is different from CSR. So this CSV strategy can be the more refined strategy compare to CSR. So in this paper, we want to research more about successful CSV case study which is limited research has been done in Korea. This paper may shed some light to the interested firms that wants to go to the Indonesia or India which country adopt mandatory CSR activity.
