Abstract Comparative analysis study of the flow characteristics and the experiment was done to try to present the orientation of the solenoid structure to be produced in the future. The comparative analysis of the analysis and experimental values was performed using the experiments and ANSYS CFD. 3D modeling of the structure are designed by the CATIA V5R18, meshing process of the flow section was used by ICEM CFD program. Flow rate was indicated by using the experimental values appear in 0-10 l/min, the result of the flow analysis, was 0.18 l/min Max. It was possible to suggest a solenoid structure more efficient through comparative analysis of experimental values and flow analysis. Key Words : Flow Characteristic, Solenoid Structure, Valve Filter. 1. 서론 1.1 배경이론최근의자동차기술은전기 / 전자기술의발전에맞추어에너지절약과연비향상을위한하이브리드자동차, 연료전지자동차, 인공지능형자동차개발에관심이집중되고있으며, 기존의자동차변속기비효율성을극복하기위해서점화시기지연및연료공급량제어, 승차감개선등연구개발이활발하게진행되고기계식에서전자식, 인공지능형으로기술변화가이루어지고있다 [1]. 본연구는교육과학기술부와한국연구재단의지역혁신인력양성사업으로수행된연구결과임. 과제번호 (No A ) * Corresponding Author : Haeng-Muk Cho(Kongju National Univ.) 2 차량용전자식솔레노이드밸브필터간의유동특성에관한연구 자동차에어컨용압축기는자동차엔진의불규칙적인회전수에의해구동됨으로넓은회전수영역에서운전이가능해야하고동시에운전가능한회전수영역에서높은효율을가져야한다. 또한자동차용압축기는주어진기후, 온도및도로특성등에의한다양한운전특성에적합하도록높은내구성을지녀야한다. 가변용량형압축기 (Variable Displacement Com- pressor) 는자동차에어컨용압축기의한종류로서기존의압축기인고정식압축기 (Fixed Disk Type Com- pressor) 와는구별되며, 내부에압축피스톤과연결되어압축피스톤을움직여주는사판 (Disk) 을회로내의압력에의하여가변적으로작동하는구조로하여사판의각도를무단자동제어하여고정식압축기보다에너지가적게들고냉방효율을높일수있는진보된압축기이다. 솔레노이드밸브는전자제어식압력제어밸브로서자동차의 ECU에서제어된신호를이용하여회로내의압력을자동제어함으로서압축기의사판의각도를자동조절하여압축기효율을향상시킨다 [3]. 1.2 솔레노이드밸브특성솔레노이드밸브의주요부품으로는마그네틱코일, 플런저, 하우징, 코어, 밸브가이드로구성되어있으며, Fig. 1에서볼수있듯이전기신호를통해플런저와벨로우즈를정밀하게제어함으로써 Suction port(ps) 와 Crank port(pc) 및 Discharge port(pd) 의유량을조절하여운전자에게안락한공기를제어해주는장치이다 [4]. 본연구에서는실험을통하여나타난솔레노이드밸브의실험값과수치해석을통하여얻게된해석값의비교분석을통하여보다효율적인솔레노이드밸브구조를제시함으로써차량용전자식솔레노이드밸브의개발에유용하게사용될수있을것으로사료된다. 2. 차량용전자식솔레노이드구조및유동특성실험기구특성 Fig. 2은본연구에서진동해석을진행한차량용전자식솔레노이드구조이다. 그림에서볼수있듯이외부구조로는플런저, 밸브바디, 하우징및코일조합금형으로구분되어지며, 내부구조는벨로우즈, 플런저및핀으로구분된다. 차량용전자식솔레노이드구조는 3차원모델링소프트웨어인 CATIA V5R18을사용하여모델링하였다. 이모델을이용하여유동해석수행은 ANSYS CFD 를사용하여진행되었다. 격자구조형성은 ICEM Metrix 를이용하여진행하였으며, 생성된격자구조를이용하여 CFD 해석을수행하였다. 솔레노이드정밀필터구간의유동특성실험은전자식유동측정기구가사용되어졌다. [Fig. 1] Performance property of solenoid valve 차량용전자식솔레노이드밸브를개발하기위해다양한정밀필터구간이제작되어제시되어졌으며, 제시되어진솔레노이드밸브정밀필터구간의유동특성에관하여연구가진행되어졌다. 양갑진은자동변속기용유압제어솔레노이드밸브의설계최적화및개발에대하여연구하였고 [5], 김재욱은 SMD 솔레노이드형태의 RF 칩인덕터의최적구조도출에대해연구하였으며 [6], 김대영은가본용량형압축기 ECV 내부의유동특성에관한수치해석에대하여연구하였다 [2]. [Fig. 2] Variable capacity solenoid structure 3. 솔레노이드구조유동실험 솔레노이드정밀필터구간의유동특성실험을하기위해 Fig. 3과같은실험기구가사용되어졌다 [4]. 1295

[Table 1] Condition of tester[4] Flow setting V1 high, V2 Pd, V3 off DC power supply 23.7V Duty controller 13.5V Maximum pressure 0.69 bar Frequency 400Hz [Fig. 4] Flow direction of solenoid valve 다음 Fig. 4의유동해석모델은 V2와 V3 밸브사이를세부적으로모델링을한결과이다. 유동해석모델의 V2와 V3 밸브사이의간극은 0.8Amp가흘렀을경우일때의모델링결과이다. 간극은 80% 로약 0.14mm가패쇄되었다. 위와같은유한요소모델을가지고 Table 1과같은조건을적용하여유체격자형성및해석을진행하였다. 4. 솔레노이드구조유동격자형성 Fig. 4 에서세부적으로모델링된솔레노이드구조를 [Fig. 5] Fluid mesh for CFD analysis 기존의구조해석과는다르게유동해석에서는유동의흐름의구간의공간을가져와야한다. 따라서 Fig. 4에서 Material 구조로모델링되어있는필터구간의유동구간을 Frozen body로형성하고, 형성된유동구조를 ICEM CFD를통하여요소분할작업을진행하였다. 격자요소의크기는 0.05mm로설정하였으며, 모든부분은 Tetra 형태로모델링하였다. 유동의흐름이제어되는정밀필터구간에요소분할이집중되었다. 유동이흡입되는구간을각각 Inlet으로 Named selection 하였고출구부분은 Outlet으로각각 Named selection 하였다. 정밀필터구간의간극이매우조밀하게격자가형성되었기때문에 Inflation 구간은별도로설정하지않고격자형성을마무리하였다. 5. 실험결과및분석 5.1 실험결과 정밀필터구간의유량실험결과는 Fig. 6에서볼수있듯이 0.8 Amp 에서최대, 최소유량은 0~10 l/min 으로측정되어진것을확인할수있었다 [4]. 따라서, 본연구에서진행한솔레노이드구조의유량은 0.8 Amp 에서유동의흐름의거의제어된것을확인할수있었다. 5.2 해석결과및분석실험조건과실험결과를바탕으로형성된격자구조의 1296
4 차량용전자식솔레노이드밸브필터간의유동특성에관한연구 [Fig. 6] Results of experiments[4] 솔레노이드밸브의유동해석을진행하였다. 실험조건과동일하게흡입압력을 Inlet으로 Named selection 지정되어진부분에 0.69bar(70kPa) 의값을입력하고 Outlet 으로 named selection 지정된면에서나타난유동값을계산하였다. 유동해석결과 Fig. 7에서볼수있듯이, V2와 V3 밸브사이에 0.69bar 로흡입된솔레노이드구조는내부최대 3m/s의유동속도가나타났으며, 최대유량은 0.18 l /min 으로계산되어졌다. 6. 결론 본연구에서는자동차에어컨용전자제어식압축밸브의유동특성을파악하고, 유한요소모델을직접요소분할작업과유량측정을통해솔레노이드정밀필터구간의유동특성에대하여설계및검증하였다. 유동해석결과흡입압력이 0.69bar(70kPa) 일경우솔레노이드정밀필터구간에서발생되는최대흡입속도는 0.3 m/s 로나타난것을확인할수있었으며, 최대유량은 0.18 l/min 으로계산되어졌다. 정밀필터구간의실험결과 0.8Amp 일경우솔레노이드구조의최대, 최소유량은 0~10 l/min 으로측정되어진것을확인할수있었다. 따라서본연구결과는향후솔레노이드정밀필터구간을설계할경우실험적고찰의과정을줄일수있을것으로사료된다. 하지만해석결과를통해제시된구조의실험을추가로수행해야하며, 향후유한요소해석에대한오차를감소하기위해여보다효과적인요소분할모델링이제시될필요가있다고사료된다. 또한, 제시된효과적인요소분할모델의유동해석을통해실험값과추가로비교분석하여좀더신뢰가갈수있는해석법이제시될필요가있다고판단된다.
