1 Journal of the Korea Academia-Industrial cooperation Society Vol. 18, No. 8 pp , ISSN / eissn 박준규 1, 이종신 2* 1 서일대학교토목공학과, 2 충남대학교건설공학교육과 Analysis of Abnormal High Temperature Phenomena in Cixi-si of China using Landsat Satellite Images Joon-Kyu Park 1, Jong-Sin Lee 2* 1 Department of Civil Engineering, Seoil University 2 Department of Construction Engineering Education, Chungnam National University 요약최근전세계적으로지구온난화로인한이상기후현상이발생되고있다. 미국북동부지역의한파, 중국베이징, 인도남부, 파키스탄의폭염, 칠레, 카자흐스탄, 베트남의홍수등세계각지에서이상기후가발생되고, 피해도속출하고있다. 특히, 중국의경우 2013년이후매년남부지역을중심으로전국적인폭염이지속되고있다. 이에본연구에서는이러한이상고온현상의특성을분석하기위해중국츠시시의 4시기 Landsat 8 OLI TIRS 센서영상을활용하였다. 위성영상의 10개밴드를활용하여토지피복분류를수행하고, 10번열밴드를이용하여지표면온도를추출하였다. 4시기의토지피복분류결과를통해시계열적인변화추이를정량적으로파악할수있었으며, 지표온도산출결과를통해각시기의평균온도뿐만아니라각항목별평균온도까지확인할수있었다. 특히, 항목별평균온도산출결과를통해동일시기에서는건물, 나지, 산림, 농경지, 수계, 갯벌의순서로온도가높게나타나는것뿐만아니라, 대상지전체의평균온도에비해건물, 나지, 산림, 농경지지역의온도는높고수계와갯벌지역은온도가낮게나타나는것을확인가능하였다. Abstract In recent years, global warming has caused abnormal weather phenomena. Unusually cold climates haveoccurred all around the world, including cold waves in the Northeastern United States, Beijing, China, Southern India, and Pakistan, as well as floods in Chile, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam. China has been experiencing a nationwide heat wave annually since the year 2013, especially in the southern region. In this study, we used Landsat 8 OLI TIRS sensor images fromfour periods to analyze the characteristics of abnormal high temperature phenomenain Cixi-si, China. Land cover classification was performed using 10 bands of satellite imagery, and the surface temperature was extracted using the 10th thermal band. The results of the land cover classification of the fourth period showthe changes of the time series quantitatively. The results of the surface temperature calculation provided both the average overall temperature and the average temperature of individual items. The temperature was found to be highest for buildings, followed by grassland, forest, agricultural land, water systems, and tidal flats in the same period. 2 인문제에해당되나, 특히, 산업화와도시화로인해대기오염이극심한국가를중심으로온난화의심각성이부각되고있는것이사실이다. 중국은 2012년부터심각한대기오염으로인해각지에서스모그가발생하기시작하였다 [3]. 스모그뿐만아니라, 2013년이후에는매년여름상하이를비롯한중국대부분의지역에서극심한폭염이지속되었다 [4]. 특히, 도심지의경우지속적인개발로아스팔트와콘크리트로피복된불투수층의증가로지표면열환경의변화가발생하였고, 인구집중화로인한인공열배출의증가로지표면의온도상승은점차가속화되고있다 [5,6]. 지표면의온도는지표면과대기사이의열에너지를교환시켜대기순환과기온에영향을미치므로에너지를이해하기위한중요한변수이나정확한관측은매우어렵다 [6,7]. 최근에는지표면의온도를 Landsat, MODIS 등의위성영상을이용하거나자동기상관측 (AWS) 자료를이용하여분석하고있다 [7-10]. 그러나매년비슷한시기의시계열적인분석과관련된연구는부족한현실이다. 이에본연구에서는최근심각성이부각되고있는중국의이상고온현상을 Landsat 8 OLI TIRS 위성영상을이용하여토지피복별, 시계열별특징을파악하고분석하고자한다 [11-12]. 분석을실시하였다. 영상의시기는이상고온현상이두드러지게발생하기시작한 2013년 7월 12일을시작으로 2015년 8월 3일, 2016년 7월 20일, 2017년 7월 23일의 4시기에해당된다. 기하보정이완료된 4시기의위성영상을효율적으로사용하기위해해상도가다른 8번전정색밴드를제외한 10개밴드를하나의파일로융합하였다. 융합한파일중대상지역만을추출하기위해마스킹을실시하였다. Fig. 1은대상지마스킹이완료된 4시기의위성영상을나타낸다. 대상지마스킹이완료된영상들은시계열적토지피복의변화량을분석하기위하여영상분류를수행하였다. 영상분류방법에는크게감독분류와무감독분류로나뉘는데, 본연구에서는시계열적분석에효율적인감독분류를활용하였다. 감독분류를위해우선, 분류항목을 6 가지 ( 수계-빨간색, 갯벌-녹색, 산림-파란색, 경작지-노란색, 나지-청록색, 건물-자홍색 ) 로나누고대푯값에해당되는항목별훈련집단을선정하였다. 분류의정확도를향상시키기위해항목별훈련집단은 4시기에걸쳐변화가발생되지않은장소들을대상으로동일하게선정하였다. Fig. 2는항목별훈련집단선정결과를나타낸다. 2. 토지피복변화 본연구에서는중국내에서도이상고온현상이빈번하게발생되고있는저장성츠시시를대상지로선정하고 Fig. 2. Result of Training Setting Fig. 1. Time-serial Masked Images about Study Area (left upper: 2013, right upper: 2015, left lower: 2016, right lower: 2017) Fig. 2와같이공통된훈련집단을설정한후, 감독분류 ( 평면육면체법, 최소거리법, 마할라노비스거리법, 최대우도법, 신경망기법, 서포트벡터머신기법 ) 방법으로모든시기를분류한결과최소거리법이가장높은정확도를나타냈다. Fig. 3은시계열의최소거리법분류결과를나타낸다. 35

Time-serial Change about Classification Results (unit: km 2 ) Item 2013 Change 2015 Change 2016 Change 2017 Water Mud Flat Forest Farm Bare Soil Structure Table 1에서각항목별특징들을찾아보면, 경작지의경우 2013년에서 2015년사이 km 2, 2015년에서 2016년사이 km 2, 2016년에서 2017년사이 km 2 만큼지속적으로증가하였다. 이는도심지와조금떨어진지역의경우나지나산림을개간하여경작지로사용하기때문으로볼수있다. 또한 2013년부터 2017년까지산림은전체적으로감소하고있으며, 산림지가건물이나경작지로변한것을알수있었다. 3. 지표온도변화 Fig. 3. Time-serial Classification Result of Minimum Distance 토지피복변화를정량적으로분석하기위해 Fig. 3의분류결과를토대로 6가지항목별시계열변화를산출하였다. Table 1은분류결과에따른시계열면적변화를나타낸다. 본연구에서는최근심각한고온현상이지속되고있는중국츠시시의지표온도의특징을파악하기위해 Landsat 8 OLI TIRS 센서의열밴드를이용하여산출한온도를시계열적, 토지피복별로분석하였다. 지표면의온도분포를분석하기위해각시기별융합영상에서열밴드에해당되는 10번밴드 ( 열적외선 ) 를활용하였다. Landsat 영상중열적외선밴드들을통해나타나는영상의밝기는해당파장대에서의에너지세기를표현하며, 지표면온도를미리정해진관계식을통해이산화하여반영하고있다 [13-16]. 영상의밝기값을지표면온도로환원하는모델에는 NASA 모델, RESTEC(Remote Sensing Technology Center of Japan) 방법, Quadratic 방법이있으며, 본연구에서는가장보편적으로사용되는 NASA 모델을채택하였다 [14,17,18]. Fig. 4는 2013 년부터 2017년의시계열적지표면온도산출결과를나타낸다. 36
4 2015년 30.36, 2016년 26.59, 2017년 로산출되었으며, 각시기별최고온도는 2013년 48.00, 2015년 43.31, 2016년 41.04, 2017년 로나타났다. 츠시시전체지역의평균온도뿐만아니라, 보다상세한온도분포를분석하기위해 2장의토지피복분류결과를바탕으로 6가지항목별평균온도를산출하였다. Surface temperature of each classification item (unit: ) Table 2에서보는바와같이, 동일한시기에서는 2013년, 2015년, 2016년, 2017년모두건물지역과나지지역에서고온현상이두드러졌으며, 갯벌지역에서는상대적으로낮은온도를유지하는것으로나타났다. 건물및나지지역은모든시기에걸쳐갯벌에비해최소 최대 9.31 높은것을알수있었다. 또한동일시기에서는전체적으로건물, 나지, 산림, 농경지, 수계, 갯벌의순서로온도가높게나타났으며, 분류형태별로건 38
6 물과나지, 산림과농경지가각각매우유사한온도분포형태를보였다. 대상지전체의평균온도에비해건물, 나지, 산림, 농경지지역의온도가높았으며, 수계와갯벌지역의온도는낮게나타났다. 4. 결론 본연구에서는최근이상고온현상이지속적으로발생되고있는중국츠시시를대상으로 Landsat 위성영상을활용하여토지피복분류를수행하고, 지표온도를산출하여시계열적, 토지피복별특징을파악하고분석하고자하였다. 그결과다음과같은결론을얻을수있었다. 1. Landsat 8 OLI TIRS 영상을이용한영상분류결과와지표온도산출결과를통해시계열적인변화값을정량적으로산출할수있었다. 2. 토지피복분류결과나지나산림을경작지로개간하여 2013년부터최근에이르기까지경작지의면적이지속적으로증가한것을알수있었다. 3. 지표온도산출결과전체면적의평균온도는 2013 년 31.02, 2015년 30.36, 2016년 26.59, 2017년 30.11, 각시기별최고온도는 2013년 48.00, 2015 년 43.31, 2016 년 41.04, 2017 년 로거의매년평균온도가 30 를육박하고, 최고온도는 40 이상인것을알수있었다. 4. 분류항목별지표온도분석결과건물및나지에서고온현상이두드러졌으며, 갯벌지역에서는상대적으로낮은온도를유지하는것을알수있었다. 향후, 본연구결과를바탕으로대상지역을중국대륙전체로확장시켜이상고온현상의특징을지속적으로관찰하는연구를진행할계획입니다.
