12 Apperceptive vs. Associative Apperceptive agnosia 시각 정보가 초보적인 수준에서는 처리되지만 의미있 는전체(percept)가 지각될 수 있도록 이 정보들을 통합 하는데 실패 Associative agnosia 시각정보를 통합하여 의미있는 전체(percept)를 형성 할 수 있지만, 그 percepts를 저장되어 있는 지식과 연 결시키지 못함 사물을 볼 수는 있지만, 그것이 무엇인지 모름

13 1) Apperceptive Agnosia Classical Apperceptive Agnosia 밝기, 색깔, 선 방향, 움직임 등 의 기초적인 시각 정보는 처리 할 수 있으나 이를 통합하여 contuor 와 같이보다복잡한 시각정보를 추출해내지 못함. 주로 일산화탄소 중독에 의한 occipital lobe과 주변영역 (ventral visual-processing)의 전반적인 외상에서 기인 Perceptual categorization에 장애가 있는 것과 구별할 필요 가 있음.

16 2) Associative Agnosia Apperceptive agnosia 환자 와는 달리 시각 자극의 복사 는 어렵지 않으나 기억을 해 서 같은 그림을 그려야 하는 경우에는 실패. 기억에 의한 문제는 아님.(말 로나 동작으로는 적절한 정의 를 내릴 수 있기 때문) 즉, 볼 수는 있으나 보고 있는 것이 무엇인지 모름 시각정보를 기억 속의 의미 정보와 연결시키는 데 실패 Copy Retrieval from memory

28 4) Implicit Recognition of Faces in prosopagnosic patients 1 electrodermal skin conductance :이전에 알았던 얼굴에 대한 반응이 몰랐던 얼굴에 대한 반응 보다 더 큼 2 behavioral priming studies : 얼굴- 이름 학습에서 예전에 알고 있던 얼굴에 이름이 잘못 짝지어진 경우, 간섭 효과를 보임 - Prosopagnosia를 얼굴의 지각적 속성-기억 속의 자서전적 정보 간의 단절 때문으로 보기 어려움 - 뇌 손상으로 인해 얼굴의 시각적 정 보의 양이 부족하거나 얼굴 재인의 역치가 높아졌을 가능성

29 5. Category-Specific Deficits in Object Recognition Category-specific deficits : 특정 category의 물건들을 인식하는데 어려움을 겪는 경 우 (감각 처리 과정의 문제는 아님) 연구 결과에 의하면 agnostic deficit이라기 보다는 semantic memory system의 문제이거나 selective anomia라고 생각됨: 이 름을 말해줘도 정의를 내리지 못함.

30 제안된 원인들 1 어떤 범주는 다른 범주에 비해 기억 정보로의 접근이 더 어려울 수 있다. 2 손상된 범주의 특정 속성에 대한 정보에만 접근이 어려울 수 있다. 3 생물과 무생물에 대한 기억 구조가 분리되어 있다. 4 기억을 되살릴 때, modality에 따라 정보의 중요도가 다르다. 5 같은 sensory modality 내의 일부 정보채널만 뇌 손상에 의해 손상 될 수 있다. 손상된 정보 채널에 더 의존적인 item이 더 쉽게 영향 을받음 6 생물체는 perceptual properties를 중심으로, 비생물체는 information on use를 중심으로 인지된다. 7 기억이 modality-specific meaning systems으로 조직화되며, 손 상된 특정 modality를 통해서는 물체에 대한 정보를 인출해 내지 못함. 다른 modality를 통한 감각정보는 기억 체계에 차별적으로 접근할수있는듯
