delivered by a Nobel laureate. Quite frankly, nobody can resist temptations like these! I have now been offered Assistant Professorship by SungKyunKwan University. I have a strong feeling that KAIST experience has a lot to do in earning a teaching position this early in my career. I am hoping to start working for SKKU from March 2012. I am looking forward to spending more time in Korea than my initial stay. Towards the end, I must thank my advisor Prof. Jiyun Lee and the entire GNSS team for making me feel welcome, and for providing me with extra ordinary opportunity to learn and explore. I look forward to staying in touch with them in the coming years. I had heard a lot about KAIST and its outstanding research environment before joining in as a post doctoral researcher in June 2011. My expectations were high and I am pleased to say with no hesitation that KAIST did not disappoint me not even a little bit! School of Mechanical, Aerospace & System Engineering, Department of Aerospace Engineering Probably the best thing about being in KAIST is that it gives a true international exposure in both personal and professional capacities. So many students from so many different countries offer a rich taste of other cultures of the world. This also gives a great opportunity for personal growth and expands one s social circle exponentially. Local people are really nice and courteous, and a few food items are really hot (Kimchi comes to mind instantly!). Most of my interaction with the local guys was on the badminton courts. I thoroughly enjoyed playing badminton at KAIST and I miss those hard fought sessions. Professionally, KAIST holds collaborations with leading universities and research organizations that help its researchers conduct good quality, result oriented research. I am happy that researchers here have kept a considerably high standard that has made KAIST one of the leading research institutions of the world. Additionally, KAIST attracts renowned researchers who come in and deliver interesting speeches every now and then. Despite staying in KAIST for a shorter duration than I originally wanted, I still managed to sneak into a lecture
