Nevertheless, there is no practical clinical test of olfactory function in Korea. Authors decided to develop the Korean olfactory testusing the odorants which are familiar to Koreans. aterials and ethodskvss Test Korean Version of Sniffin Sticks Test is composed of KVSS Test screening test and KVSS Test comprehensive test. KVSS Test was performed on 0 controls with normosmia, 9 patients with hyposmia, and patients with anosmia. KVSS Test was performed on 7 controls with normosmia, 9 patients with hyposmia, and patients with anosmia. The subjects ranged in ages from 0 to 9 years. ResultsIn KVSS Test, the range of scores smell test was.7. in normosmia,..7 in hyposmia, and.. in anosmia. In KVSS Test, the range of T.D.I. score the sum of olfactory threshold score, odor discrimination score, and odor identification score was.98.8 in normosmia, 7.00. in hyposmia, and 7..0 in anosmia p0.00. ConclusionIt is concluded that KVSS Test and are suitable for the routine clinical assessment of olfactory performance in Koreans.
