21 Style 별제목 / 부제목 (AMA) Capitalize the first letter of each major word in titles and subtitles. Do not capitalize articles (eg, a, an, the), prepositions of 3 or fewer letters, coordinating conjunctions (and, or, for, nor, but), or the to in infinitives. With Do capitalize a 2-letter verb, such as Is or Be. Exceptions are made for some expressions, such as compound terms from languages other than English and phrasal verbs.

22 Style 별제목 / 부제목 (ACS) In titles and headings that are typeset in capital and lowercase letters, capitalize the main words, which are nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and subordinating conjunctions, regardless of the number of letters. Do not capitalize coordinating conjunctions ("and", "but", "or", "nor", "yet", "so"), articles ("a", "and", 'the"), or prepositions. Do capitalize the "to" in infinitives. Do capitalize the first and last words of a title or heading, regardless of part of speech, unless the word is mandated to be lowercase (e.g., ph, d Orbital).

Prepositions of more than three letters (Before, Through, With, Without, Versus, Among, Under, Between) should be capitalized.
