Ⅷ 부록 1. ADD-ON 운임이란? VIII. 부록 비교적여객운송량이적은도시에대한항공운임까지운임책자에표기하면책자의분량도커질뿐더러필요한운임을찾는데많은시간이소모되는문제가있다. 따라서해당도시의주변에있는운송량이많은관문도시 (Gateway City) 와해당도시간의운임을별도로설정하여이용하게되는데이를 ADD-ON 이라한다. Ⅷ. 부록 2. Pricing Unit Concept 1. 배경 1 Fare System들간에서로다른방법의운임계산법이적용되어미국내대리점업계에서 Pure Pricing Unit이라는운임산출방법을사용함으로써 IATA Rule을준수하는항공사와정산상문제가발생하게되었다. Pure Pricing Unit는각 Pricing Unit간 Minimum Check을하지않는다. 2 일부 CRS사들도 ( SABRE, GALILEO등 ) Pure Pricing Unit방식을적용하는 Fare System을기운용중이다 3 따라서 IATA 에서이러한현재의운임산출방법의이원화를통일하기위해 Working Group을구성, 연구검토하여 Pure Pricing Unit을보완한 Pricing Unit Concept이라는새로운 Fare Construction Rule 도입을합의하게되었다. 발행되는대부분의항공권이 4장이하의 Flight Coupon으로구성되어있으며, 분리발권하여저렴한항공권을구입하는것이일반적인추세로서, Strong Currency 국가출발은 OW Ticket으로발권하고나머지여정은 Weak Currency 국가출발부터분리발권하여저렴한항공권을구입하는것이현실이므로이러한현실적인추세를제도화시킨것이 Pricing Unit Concept이다. 2. 기본개요 1) 기본개념 1 Journey Concept : 기존의운임계산방법으로출발지부터최종목적지까지하나의운임단위 (One Pricing Unit) 로간주하여운임을계산하는방식이다. 2 Pricing Unit Concept : 전체여정을하나의여정또는분리발권될수있는여러개의 Pricing Unit (PU) 으로나누어운임을계산하는방식이다. 즉, PU는 Journey Concept을포함하는개념으로, 여정 ( 분리계산된 Side-Trip 은제외 ) 을하나의 PU 로계산한것과, END-ON Combination 된각 PU의합을비교, 저렴한운임을적용하는방법이다. END-ON Combination 란 Lowest Combination 의한형태로 Fare Construction Points 에서둘이상의운임들이더해진것이다. 259
