This seminar first deals with the logic and contents of China's traditional diplomacy toward its neighbors through the concepts of tribute system and Han nationalism. Then, the seminar discusses the logic of China's military intervention and disputes with other states, followed by discussions of China's bilateral relations with key regions and states, including the United States, Russia, Japan, Asia, Taiwan and Korea.
