1 제 3 장투고규정, 참고문헌작성양식및단위표기법 장재화 ( 인포루미 ) 학습목표 : 국제학술지가갖추어야할투고규정의형식과내용을알고개별학술지투고규정의보완점을설명할수있어야한다. 참고문헌의대표적인작성양식을 3 종이상기술하고장단점을설명할수있어야하며, 국제단위체계에서기술하는기본단위사용법에대해말할수있어야한다. 구체목표 1) 투고규정의일반적인구성과투고규정작성시유의해야할항목들에대해설명할수있다. 2) 해당분야대표학술지의투고규정을분석해보고, 개별학술지의투고규정에서보완해야할내용을생각해본다. 3) Harvard style 과 Vancouver style 의차이를기술할수있어야한다. 4) 참고문헌의오류를최소화할수있는방안을두가지이상설명할수있어야한다. 5) SI 법을설명할수있어야한다. 준비물 : 자신의학술지최근호 1 부

2 1. 투고규정 국제 학술지의 투고규정이 갖추어야 하는 내용은 매우 다양하다. 학술지의 편집방침을 투고규정에 최대한 자세하게 기술하는 것이 심사와 출판에 소요 되는 시간과 노력을 줄이고 투고자와 편집인 모두에게 도움이 되기 때문이 다. 학술지 지면에 자세한 투고규정을 게재하기 어렵다면, 학술지 홈페이지 에서 상세한 투고규정을 안내하여 투고자에게 혼란이 없도록 하여야 한다. 투고규정의 작성과 개정 시에는 투고규정의 일반적인 구성을 참고하되, 특히 최근 강화되고 있는 연구출판윤리 등 주요 점검 항목을 중심으로 살펴볼 필 요가 있다. 1) 투고규정의 구성 투고규정은 학술지마다 그 형식이 다양하지만, 크게 나누어 다음과 같은 내용을 다루고 있다. - General Information 학술지 소개, 연구 분야, 논문 유형, 학회 연락처 등 - Editorial Policies (1) 윤리적 고려사항 (2) 저자됨, 전문가심사, 이해관계, 사생활과 비밀보호, 연구 대상 사람과 동물의 보호 등 - M anuscript Preparation (1) 일반적인 원칙 (2) 표지 (3) 초록, 중심단어 (4) 본문의 구성 (5) 이해관계고지 (6) 감사의 글 (7) 참고문헌

3 (8) 표 (9) 그림, 설명 (10) 논문 유형별 원고 형식 (11) 측정 단위 (12) 약어와 기호 - Submission of M anuscript 원고의 발송과 투고방법 2) 투고규정의 점검 - International Committee of Medical Journal Editor's Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts 투고규정에 따로 규정하지 않은 것은 ICMJE Uniform Requirements for Manuscript 에 따른다고 기술한다. - Registration to the clinical study registration site 임상시험을 임상시험등록기관에 등록할 것을 요청하여야 한다. - Conflict of Interest Statement 본인 또는 직계 가족의 재정적 관련성 ( 고용관계, 고문, 주식보유, 사례금, 전문가 자문 등 ) 을 포함하여 이해관계의 가능성이 있는 모든 관련성을 빠 짐없이 밝히도록 요청하여야 한다. - Statement of Informed Consent 환자는 사생활을 보호받을 권리를 가지며, 환자의 개인정보가 과학정보로 서 필수 불가결한 경우에는 환자, 부모 또는 보호자에게 설명하고 서면으 로 피험자 동의서 를 받아야 한다는 사실을 투고규정에 반드시 포함시켜 야 한다. - Statement of H uman and Animal Rights 인간 대상 연구의 경우, 연구 진행과정이 인간 대상 연구에 책임 있는 국 제 또는 국내 기관의 윤리지침과 1975년에 제정된 헬싱키 선언문을 준수

4 했는지 여부를 밝혀야 한다는 내용을 포함시켜야 한다. - Good Pub lication Practice G uidelines for M edical Journals 의학 분야 학술지의 경우, 대한의학학술지편집인협의회의 의학논문 출판 윤리 가이드라인을 따른다고 기술하는 것을 권장한다. - Peer review process 동료에 의한 전문가심사는 학술지에 제출된 원고를 편집위원회에 속하지 않은 전문가가 학술적으로 평가하는 것으로, 각 학술지는 투고규정에 전 문사심사 과정과 편집방침, 투고 후 게재까지의 평균시간 등을 공개하여 야 한다. - References 참고문헌의 작성 양식을 명확하게 기술하여야 한다. 인용 매체별 참고문 헌 작성양식을 예를 들어 구체적으로 설명하는 것이 중요하다. 생의학 분 야 학술지의 경우, National Library of M edicine의 Citing M edicine을 따 른다고 기술하는 것을 권한다. - Language 학술지 논문에서 사용할 언어를 규정한다. 한글 논문일지라도 적어도 Citation, Acknowledgements, Table, Figure, References 등의 표기는 영 어로 기술하는 것이 필요하다. - Unit 일반적으로 과학 논문에서는 국제단위체계 (SI unit) 를 사용하도록 규정한 다. 그러나 아직 SI 가 전 세계적으로 통용되는 것은 아니므로 학술지 편 집인이 저자에게 SI 단위 이외의 단위나 기타 다른 단위를 추가로 기술할 것을 요구할 수도 있다. 학술지의 단위 기술 원칙을 투고규정에 포함시켜 야 한다. - M anuscript M anagement System 온라인 논문 투고 시스템이 있다면 그 투고방법을 투고규정에 안내하여야 한다

(3) 최근 CrossRef 등을통해논문들이상호연결되고있다. 정확하지않 은참고문헌으로는링크가불가능하다. 2) 대표적인 참고문헌 스타일 (1) Citation-Sequence Style (Vancouver, NLM Style): 의학이나 생명공 학 분야에서 많이 사용하는 스타일이다. 본문에서 인용 순으로 번호를 붙이고 참고문헌 목록의 번호를 일치시켜 참조하도록 하는 방법이다. 장점 - 본문에 번호만 있으므로 독자가 본문을 읽는데 방해하지 않는다. - 참고문헌 리스트를 만들고, 본문에 표시하는 것이 간단하다. 단점 - 본문 상에 번호만 있으므로 참고문헌 리스트를 보기 전에는 참고 문헌에 대한 정보를 전혀 알 수 없다. - 본문의 내용이 바뀌는 경우 참고문헌의 수정이 복잡하다. - 저자의 문헌리스트를 활용하기 어렵다. (2) Name- Y ear Style (APA, Chicago, H arvard Style): 주로 사회과학 분 야와 공학, 식물학, 지구과학 등의 분야에서 사용한다. 논문의 끝부분 에 저자의 알파벳순으로 참고문헌 목록을 정리하고 본문에서는 참고문 헌의 저자와 연도를 기입한다. 장점 - 본문 내용의 순서가 바뀌어도 참고문헌 리스트의 수정은 필요없다. - 본문을 읽으면서 참고문헌의 저자명과 연도를 알 수 있어 편리하다. - 참고문헌이 저자순으로 되어있어 동일 저자의 참고문헌을 한 번 에 볼 수 있다. 단점 - 본문에 표시하는 것이 복잡하다. 동일저자의 여러 논문, 저자가 없는 논문 등의 변수가 많다. - 참고문헌이 여러 개의 경우, 본문의 내용이 끊겨 독자들이 논문을
