Abstract In this paper, we consider particular exposure scenarios to evaluate human effects for inductive commercial wireless charging device operating at low frequency. The coil used in this study is the A10 model in Qi standard proposed by WPCWireless Power Consortium, and input power is 5 W to the operating frequency of 155 khz. In perfectly aligned condition, the max leakage magnetic field is μt which is obtained at the side of the device, and it is exceeded about 7.4 times of the ICNIRP 1998 reference level. The SAR is evaluated with homogeneous phantom which has electric constants of wet skin. The max value of the SAR is μw/kg which is obtained at the side of the device also, and it is much lower than the international guidelines. Especially, it showed higher SAR values in case of misalignment condition, so we will need to consider the misalignment condition importantly when we evaluate human effects for wireless power transfer system. 5 THE JOURNAL OF KOREAN INSTITUTE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE. vol. 28, no. 5, May 전송기기의 전자기장은 근거리장으로 형성되기 때문에, 기기에 인접한 영역 및 균질 인체팬텀의 메쉬 설정을 더 세밀하게 하여 근거리장 계산 결과의 신뢰성을 높였다. 또한 계산 결과의 정확성을 검증하기 위해 HFSS의 설계 모델에서 방사되는 자기장의 계산 값과 실제 모델의 측 정값을 직접 비교하여, 설계한 모델이 실제 모델과 같은 방사 특성을 보임을 검증하였다. 이때 자기장 측정 프로 브는 Aaronia 사의 PBS-H4 모델, A10 코일은 Wurth Electronic 사의 모델을 사용하였고, 해당 프로브를 포함한 측 정 환경을 그림 5에 나타내었다. 그림 6은 송신부와 수신부 코일이 동작하고 있는 경우, 두 코일 사이 중심 지점과 시스템의 가장 자리를 기준점 으로 하여 시스템의 외각으로부터 60 mm 지점까지 10 mm 간격으로 실제 측정한 값과 시뮬레이션으로 계산된 자기장 프로브 및 측정 환경 그림 5. Comparison of measured magnetic field density and calculated magnetic field density. 386 값을 비교한 것이며, 이를 통해 설계 모델이 실제 모델과 같은 방사 패턴과 자기장 강도를 보이는 것과 시뮬레이 션 계산 결과의 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 3-2 설계 모델의 인체영향 평가 설계 모델의 검증 과정 이후, 실제 상용 무선충전기기 가 동작하는 상태인 5 W 출력 상태에서 기기의 상단과 측면의 외각에서 거리에 따른 방사 자기장과 SAR를 각각 계산하여 전자파 노출 국제 기준과 비교하였고, 그림 7에 이를 나타내었다. 기기의 측면에서 자기장 세기는 기기에 가장 근접한 경우에 최대 μt의 세기를 보였으며, 이는 우리나라가 기준으로 채택하고 있는 ICNIRP 2010의 27 μt에 대략 7.4배 높은 수치이다. 자기장 세기는 기기 에서 대략 16 mm 떨어진 지점 이후부터 기준에 만족함을 보였다. 기기 상단에서는 최대 μt의 세기를 나타 냈으며, 페라이트 면으로부터 19 mm 이후 지점부터 기준 을 만족하였다. 이를 통해 수신 코일에 페라이트를 적용 할 경우, 기기의 상단보다 측면으로 누설되는 자기장이 인체에 더 영향을 미침을 확인하였다. 그림 8는 각각 상단과 측면에서의 10 g 평균 SAR 분포 를 나타낸 것이다. SAR 역시 자기장 세기와 마찬가지로 기기 상단보다 측면에서 더 큰 세기를 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 수치는 상단과 측면에서 각각 μw/kg 과 μw/kg으로 측면에서 대략 106 % 더 높은 SAR 가 계산되었다. 다만, 코일 구조 특성상 자기장의 방사 방 향이 측면보다 상단 방향이기 때문에, 상단에서의 SAR가 더 넓은 분포를 보였다. 자기장 세기와 기준과 비교 그림 7.
