Central Baptist Theological Seminary prepares women and men to transform churches and communities by educating and forming them as Christian leaders who are biblically knowledgeable, theologically articulate, spiritually healthy, humanly sensitive and professionally competent. In this course we will begin to explore what it means to be formed as Christian leaders, transformed and ready to be a partner in transforming churches. We will explore and apply practices/disciplines that contribute to spiritual health, and begin to learn the range of biblical-historical-theological-ethical-homiletic knowledge and awareness needed for effective ministry. COURSE DESCRIPTION 과목소개 강해설교학개론수업은정확성, 흥미, 명료함과적절성을가지고본문중심의메세지를준비하고 전달하는것을훈련하는과목이다. 또한설교의기본원리들 ( 핵심주제, 설교구조, 보조원료, 전달, 그리고적용등 ) 을설교속에서연구하고적용할것이다. 학생들은효과적인서론과결론을 발표하고교수와학생들에게평가를받는다. An introduction to basic expository preaching theory and skills emphasizes the preparation and
2 delivery of a textually derived proposition with accuracy, interest, clarity, and relevance. A study of the construction of sermons directly from a Biblical text, basic principles of preaching will be studied and applied in a preaching experience including: the formulation of a central idea, sermon structure, support material, delivery, and application. Students present introduction and receive evaluation from fellow students and the professor. COURSE OBJECTIVES 과목의목표 이수업이끝나면학생들은아래의영역들에서준비될것이다. (1) 설교를위한신학적기반에대한이해 (2) 성경적인설교아웃라인에대한이해 (3) 설교를구성하는데필요한요소들에대한이해 : 서론, 해설, 예화, 적용, 전환, 결론 (4) 설교의효과적인전달을위한준비 (5) 실제설교현장속에서평생설교자로서준비 By the end of the course students should be able to: (1) A comprehension of a solid theological foundation of preaching. (2) A comprehension of biblically faithful, homiletic outline (3) An understanding of the basic sermon elements: introduction, explanation, illustration, application, transition, and conclusion (4) adequately prepare sermons for delivery; (5) A preparation for the real field of preaching ministry. COURSE REQUIREMENTS 수강생들의의무 학생들이준비할사항은다음과같다. (1) 모든수업에빠져서는않되며적극적으로참여해야한다. (2) 효과적인수업진행을위해각섹션별분량의책을읽어와야한다. (3) 두권의책을읽고보고서를제출해야한다. (4) 서론혹은결론중한번의발표를같는다. (5) 세계의설교아웃라인과두개의설교를제출해야한다. (6) 50 개의예화를제출해야한다. Participation & Behaviors 수업참여도및자세 1) Do not have private conversations. 개인적인대화를하지않는다. 2) All cell phones, smartphones, and other electronic devices (e.g., ipods) must be turned off. In emergency case, you can set on vibrate. 셀폰, 스마트폰, 아이팟과같은전기전자제품은전원을정지시켜놓아야한다. 비상사태가예상될경우전화기를진동으로해놓아야한다. 3) Laptop and tablet computers are allowed for quiet note taking only. Other activities such as checking personal e-mail or browsing the Internet are prohibited. 노트북은강의필기를위해서만사용되어야한다. 수업시간에이메일확인이나인터넷사용은금지된다. 4) Do not dominate other student's opportunities to learn by asking too many questions. 다른학생들이수업에참여를방해할정도로수업시간을독점해서는안된다. 5) Respect your professor and be polite towards other students. 교수님과동료학생들을예의를가지고대한다. 6) Students should address faculty as "Professor, "Dr.," or "Pastor" 교수를호칭할때, " 교수님, 박사님, 혹은목사님 " 으로칭한다. 7) Participate in class discussions and show much effort towards academic success. 토론에적극적으로참여하고, 배움에대한진지한열정이있어야한다. *3. If a student's GPA drops below 2.0, they will be placed on Academic Probation. 평점이 2.0 미만일경우 " 학사경고 " 처분을받는다. COURSE EXPECTATIONS 유의사항수업참여를인정받기위해서는 12 개의강의에필히참석해야한다. 불가피한사정으로결석할때는반드시사전에서면으로허락을받고, 빠진수업에해당하는내용을학습하였음을증명하는별도의과제를일주일내에제출해야한다. 모든과제물은타이핑으로제출하되, 글자크기는 11, 테두리여백은 1인치, 줄간격은단일간격으로해야한다. 센트럴침례신학교의학칙은포괄용어 (inclusive language) 를사용하는것을의무사항으로하고있다. 학칙은 우리는학생들이글로쓰거나말로발표하는모든과제에서포괄언어를사용하도록 권하고있다 ( 신학교웹사이트에있는요람에서원문을살펴보라 ). 모든과제는해당일오전 9 시 30 분까지제출해야하며, 교수의사전허락없이늦게제출하는과제는받아들여질수없다. 모든학생은이과목과관련된학업의모든면에서도의적하자가없는기준을유지할의무가있다. 학업에있어서아래와같은행위는용인될수없다. Inevitable absence should be permitted by the instructor with written petition prior to the class and the evidence of the satisfactory make-up should be submitted within one week of the absent date. All papers should be typed, 11 pt. font, 1 inch margins, and single-spaced. Central Baptist Seminary s academic policies include commitment to inclusive language. It says in part, We invite students to commit themselves to using inclusive language in all written and oral presentations. (See the complete statement in the seminary catalogue on the seminary s website academic policies section.) Written assignments will be due at AM 9:30 of the assigned day. Late assignments are unacceptable without official permission of the instructor.
