CITY OF SEOUL STATISTICS Consumer Price Indices The price of goods and services are researched to make out consumer price index, the results of which are used as basic data for financial and banking policies and as a deflator for other economic indicators, such as household's total income and expenditure. The standard year is 2015 (2015=100); 460 goods and services are researched; and the weight is based on the expenditure among the results of the urban household survey in 2015. The price survey is conducted three times a month for agricultural and livestock products, once a month for industrial or service items, and once a quarter for payment.
