Research subject change trend analysis of Journal of Educational Information and Media Studies : Network text analysis of the last 20 years * The objectives of this study are analyzing research trends of the last 20 years and finding futuristic issues of Journal of Educational Information and Media Study. In order to achieve the objectives, we analyzed 545 articles from the Journals which published a total 21 books and 4 volumes in 2015. A total of three researchers selected five major core keywords while reading all of the summaries of the papers. After all, it was possible to select a total 1,141 keywords. The most frequently appeared keywords are e-learning, web-based learning, learning achievement, interaction, satisfaction, distance education. By the criteria of government, the most frequently appearing keywords are as follows: 1) Kim Dae-Jung: web-based learning, educational broadcasting and learning achievement 2) Rho Moo-Hyun: e-learning, web-based learning and learning achievement, 3) Lee Myung-Bak: e-learning, Satisfaction and learning achievement, 4) Park Geun-Hye: learning achievement, e-learning and cooperative learning. These results show some meaningful outcomes. First, the frequency of web-based learning has declined accordingly: 1st-2nd-5th-62nd. Second, the following keywords frequence have also significantly declined - distance education, cyber class and literacy. Third, the frequency of keywords such as cooperative learning, flow, cognitive load, smart education and SNS has increased. These outcomes clearly show a changing tend and terms used in education. Lastly, while using network-text analysis, it was possible to present the median and relationship amongst the keywords of each government.
