The Korea Journal of Counseling 2004, Vol. 5, No. 4, 927-939 A Normative Study of Korean-Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Diagnostic Scale and Developing Web-Based Computer-Assessment System Chi-Yeon Yoon Choonhae College Young-Soon Lee This study was executed to develop Korean Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Diagnostic Scale for identifying persons with the disorder, and to construct web-based computer-assessment system. Subjects were 322 children and young adults who had been diagnosed as ADHD, and teachers, psychologists and their parents were asked to rate the subtests of KADHDDS (hyperactivity, impulsivity, inattention). The result of internal consistency, standard error of measurement, test-retest, and interrator reliability demonstrated strong reliability of the scale. In addition, the median coefficients and intercorrelations for the subtests were significantly high in statistical analysis. In other words, the scale was known to be reliable and valid. Also, the web-based computer assessment system was developed on the base of the result. As a result, this study suggest the scale can be scientifically and effectively used for diagnosis and assessment of persons with ADHD in the various settings and on-line.
