The Influence of Team Leader s Experience Acceptance on Team Effectiveness: Mediating Effect of Leadership Flexibility and Moderating Effect of Consideration Leadership Yongmoon Graduate School of CHA University Soongsil University Counseling Psychology The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of leadership flexibility on a relationship between team leader s experience acceptance and team effectiveness along with the moderating effect of consideration leadership. For this, the data of 65 team leaders gathered through a convenience sampling method were analyzed through path analysis. The findings showed that experience acceptance of the team leaders affected team effectiveness and that the relationship between experience acceptance and team effectiveness was mediated by team leaders leadership flexibility. Also the relationship between leadership flexibility and team effectiveness was moderated by consideration leadership. In detail, the lower leadership flexibility of team leaders, the lower team effectiveness. But even if the leadership flexibility of team leaders was low and consideration leadership was high, team effectiveness did not get low. That is, consideration leadership had a buffering effect against leadership non-flexibility. More implications, limitations and suggestions for further study were discussed in the current study. Key words : workplace counseling, experience acceptance, team effectiveness, leadership, leadership flexibility, consideration leadership
