Journal of Educational Innovation Research 2016, Vol. 26, No. 2, pp.159-177 DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.21024/pnuedi.26.2.201608.159 * The Mediating Effects of Self-esteem on the Relationship between Social Support and Happiness of Infant-toddler Teachers Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of self-esteem on the relationship between social support and happiness of infant-toddler teachers. Method: As subjects of a survey, 200 teachers were selected by random sampling from teachers in childcare center located in Busan. The 181 completed answer sheets were statistically analyzed. Results: The findings of the study were identified, partial mediating effects of self-esteem on the relationship between the social support and happiness of infant-toddler teachers. Conclusion: The findings of the study on the mediation structure of the self-esteem of infant-toddler teachers and their social support and happiness are expected to suggest how to promote the happiness of infant-toddler teachers and how to understand their social support.
